Kashif was one of the hottest artist/producers during the eighties. He was labled Arista's "Prince". Throughout this period he worked with Evelyn Champagne King, Lala, Lilo Thomas, Whitney Houston, Glenn Jones, Freddie Jackson, and Melissa Morgan. This song has to be one of the best songs from the early eighties this is when R and B music began sounding clean and replacing live instruments with electronics.

i first saw kadhif,s name on george benson,s in your eyes album! inside love ( so personal) which he wrote is awesome! i remember paul gambaccini playing one of his songs on the radio mid 80's .he is one of the backroom boys behind major acts who gets over looked ,sadly like so many in the industry especially back then! today it,s different,talent is sadly lacking and people like kashif,ray parker jr dont have any successors to the throne! sign of the times i guess!

I can remember the very first time I heard this track and I knew I was hooked from that moment on. STILL playing it in my truck's CD player to this very day. WAAAAAAY ahead of its time when it came out, Kashif had already left his "calling card" miniMoog bass synthesizer bass lines on hits from Evelyn "Champagne" King & Howard Johnson(So Fine), but when his debut album broke....that was it.
