  • 24 seconds in 4 hit combo very clean pwnd !!!

  • @leavemtwisted

no disrespect, these 2 guys are as bad as each other. why is there no turning or stepping to deflect energy and borrow the oher persons energy to finish the attack. this is wrestling. Even if i consider the strikes to the chin, they are so off balance when executed that one could take the punch and not be knocked down. chi sao is for developing sensitivity and NOT for fighting.

    lets agree to disgaree!

  • @chachaman77 its difficult to stay in chi sao when the other person is moving wildly i had the same problem in a tournement once the way i remedied it was i just kept battle punching down his center ...he wasnt covering himself but there was no point in me chasing his hands when he was open... by the end of the fight he was just holding my hands saying plz stop hitting me after the judges had said something to me about constantly hitting down the center i told them i do wing chun

  • @leavemtwisted wrong. it is hard to stay in chi sao is because people don't have enough experience or the correct training. when someone is wild... everything about wing chun comes into play for you.. your stance, your form, your elbows and your soft/hard energy. This means, you need to control his movements.

  • @devilzmantis in all friendliness i would love to get together and exchange ideas hard to go back and forth here friendly chi sao im in new york city get back to me

  • @leavemtwisted i'm in San Francisco... if you're ever here, send me a message. it'll be great to exchange ideas and do some friendly chi sao.

  • @leavemtwisted so... since we're not gonna meet anytime soon, lets talk about a few things. People that will abandon Chi Sao don't have enough experience in it. if you teach chi sao to a 1 month student... he will not stay in chi sao AT ALL. A 1 year chi sao student will stay a bit until he feels he's outmatched... Someone masters the way of Wing Chun, will not abandon chi sao because it becomes 2nd nature. DO NOT GIVE UP on Chi Sao as it is the core of Wing Chun... make it 2nd nature

  • @chachaman77 well i agree with you. there is no form here. when one guys starts pushing and rushing... everything goes out the window. no stance, no turns, no control.... they rush in and whoever lands their hand the first wins? LOL there's not even any power in those punches.

  • an internal strike in a no hard striking tournament he got washed by a better wingchun man so clean he got papoi jung thats just embarassing lau wei is the lineage the other guy is very sloppy like most wing chun men but my boy always goes into stance when contact is broken and i cant count how many times he with control placed his fist on the guys chin

  • this is not chi sau or wing chun. it is what you do when you learn wing chun for all the wrong reasons....

  • i used to chi sao like this

then i started to learn wing chun

this is wrestling - pointless activity

  • @chachaman77 you need to pay attention my boy is very clean and controled but its hard to stay that way when the other guy is just wild

  • what this supposed to be ? terrible chi sao, balance, posture, and use of fang ging. Certainty not yip man wing chun

  • @69xtomx69 your one of those yip man fools do you also hold your ton sau like yip man know 100 of you guys caught up in a name

  • I thought you're supposed to relax in chi sao.

    these guys look tense.

  • @bernsan1 yah, bad wing chun. this is a rush slapping contest not wing chun.

  • @devilzmantis bull he paipo jung him very clean just to show and watch how many times he places his fist on his chin clean with good posture and stance

  • @leavemtwisted lol what? what good posture and stance are you talking about? If you think this is good posture, you have been mistaught and misled. His punch touched his chin but it was bad posture. It was more of a jabbed/slap attempt. A Wing Chun Punch does not need to be failing, it should be squared up and the person's body should be 6 inches from the opponent. His elbow should be bent when his fist touches his opponents so that if he may lock his elbow and wrist if he wants to punch.

  • @devilzmantis ya boy got owned since when in chi sao do you wave your hands around and to get paipo junged is embarrasing means he was totally open so much for his good posture and kicked in the chest with control not like your boy whos throwing hay makers and almost seriously injured his opponent what a martial artist

  • @devilzmantis cant believe you said lock his elbo if he wants to punch and you know wing chun ha ha everybodys wing chun is different its the priciples that are important and locking your elbo to strike not one of them

  • @leavemtwisted i'll give you 2 examples. If your fist is on my face fully extended... you have no power like the person in this video. However, if your fist is on my face with your elbows bent... then I'd be scared. Do you understand this concept? With elbows bent, you have room to extend your punches. With your whole are fully extended while your fist is on his face is nothing. Do you understand this concept?

  • chi sau is not fighting, so im not sure how i feel about these events, first time i ever seen it. Its a tough call because in that scenario the guys do whats expected they do whats needed to win and props to them. But it takes away everything chi sau is supposed to be for, you should stick and chase center, not just hit, push and get someone out of a stance and off a platform. Chi sau has a purpose and these competitions take way that purpose by making it about winning.

  • bad chi sao... back to the drawing board for you lot

  • oh the hit....i really dont care about the hit lol hehe its just funny how that dude gets dq

  • haha the dude jack go disqualified lol

  • as a south mantis practitioner, I don't know how Ifeel about the non existent footwork, the constant use of hard against hard, rooting with girth as opposed to bio mechanics and body posture, as well as the use of a straight arm two handed push with a simple forward stance to get the guy off the platform. Someone please explain before i lose respect for this type of chi sao

  • Body posture should be able to shift etc. "..a straight arm two handed push with a simple forward stance ..",or even a straight arm single hand push is the basic of "Tan Ging"."A Jook Lum Practioner, who has mastared the Art of Hard and Soft..", has reached perfection, and is truly dangerous. These students who has only learned for a year, are starting off on a solid foundation.Thankyou for the comment.

  • True, in Jook Lum Praying Mantis it should not be hard against hard. It should be a combination of Hard And Soft, with footworks to distract the opponet, while the hands attack. Otherwist there is no "Art", and it would be like " Two Cows Fighting".

  • a straight arm is never actually straight in Jook Lum therefore the power can change direction much quicker.. i do not see a change in direction therefore i do not see chi sao.. am i incorrect?

  • @JookLumSon cant do chi sau when when your opponent is trying to do hung ga internal strikes on you

  • It didn't look so clean when he almost threw up.

  • At 54 sec., you see Jack hitting his opponent with an internal strike, almost ending the match. These types of strikes are hard to see, and not always apparent, but very effective.

  • looked more like a punch to the solarplexus

  • Absolutely, what the video doesn't show is how after the match, the guy took five steps and then dropped dead due to the super awesome effectiveness of his "Internal" Strike.

  • @bamboobug it was an illegal leopard strike

  • But it is a chi sao tournament not a bare knuckle match. Interesting part is the guy still showed skill and class and won. Could it have been the shorter was losing control of his emotions?

  • No.

  • The Taller Guys Wing Chun Is very Clean Im impressed , what Liniage ?

  • Sorry, don't know the lineage. I agree, both men exhibited great skill.

  • lol. I like how you always sneak in a good comment for you guys. haha. Still, regardless your guys are GOOD.

    good job.

  • NICE GONG FU
