  • Is this guitar completely solid-wood?

  • @Chaif15Let Yes, this is is an all solid guitar. Since there are a few of the production models ready, we are offering this particular prototype at a reduced price. You may message me for details.

  • Great tune! Really nice playing!

  • M A N Y thanks - for the clarifications, John.

Upon reflection, I think I would delight in a non-electronic 7-string Kremona; but, alas there are no 7-string guitars in their 'artist' series. A LOT of finger-pickers would love the tuning possibilities of a Good (Kremona) 7-string guitar.

After life destruction by throat-cancer 'treatment', the guitar has lived up to hopes for cathartic recuperation; when noodling, my fingers too cold to play !

May it provide you a similarly peaceful haven.

  • Thanks SO much for Replying, John. I found 33 Vadim Kolpakov YouTube videos; unfortunately, all were in noisy, non-solo settings - unsuitable to answer my Fishman-amplified sound question.

That's an interesting 7-string guitar, John. Sadly, it seems that the U.S. distributor (KremonaUSA) doesn't import it (yet?), anyway.

  • @mpc48B Hi Mike, They will be available through SoloGuitarist(dot)Net as soon as they are available. :))

  • ... not sure, if my Reply 'got through'. What a nice, relaxing piece, John. I envy you that peace.

I wasn't expansive enough in my question. What I was trying to uncover is: How natural a classical guitar sound is produced by those Fishman electronics? Does it result in that 'twangy' electric-nylon sound, especially from the bass strings?

I'd love to hear something/ANYthing through the Fiesta Cutaway Fishman electronics.

    thanks,

    Mike

  • @mpc48B Thanks Mike! This guitar is the second of three prototypes, The other two are owned by Vadim Kolpakov. He has more than a few videos here, where he uses the pickup. This second prototype uses the Fishman Prefix Pro which includes a piezo at the bridge, notch filter, eq, phase inverter , etc., It is a very nice set up. Number three and all the following production models have the Fishman Prefix Pro Blend, This adds a condenser mic to blend with the piezo for an even more natural sound.

  • Was that recording made through the guitar's electronics ... or barefoot?

  • @mpc48B Thanks for your interest, Mike! This is the pure acoustic sound as picked up by the the mic on the Panasonic HDC-SX1 camera. No electronics were used and no enhancements were added. All the best, John.

  • Beautiful! I'm planning to buy on of these sevenstring Kremonas. Sounds very nice!

  • thank you John, very nice piece !! :))
