My Dad was going to see them in concert, as they opened for Metallica. The tour began on the East Cost, and moved westward. Once they reached Seattle, Queensryce stopped touring and Faith No More took their spot. talk about a fail. My Dad loved Metallica because it was their Kill Em All tour. Yet, he always regrets never being able to see the 'Ryche.

Well this is gonna really show my age :-).. I've seen QR live 19 times starting way back in 1985 when they open for KISS! Blew KISS off the stage my opinion...Anyways then twice in 86 for R4O in which the second show they headlined!! Let me tell you that's when Geoff Tate was at his best..fucking incredible....!Then 89,91,94,97 and the list goes on..Rage for Order tour was my favorite...Two hours plus....yahoo....!

This is what Wikipedia says about chris Da Garmo..."DeGarmo currently lives in the Seattle area with his wife and children, and works full time as a professional pilot. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate, Hawker (HS125), IA-Jet and Learjet 45 type ratings from the FAA"....Nothing wrong with that but you would think being such a great musician he would be totally emersed in music. Oh well, as long as he is happy.

Go Ryche! I saw them in Stuttgart Germany in June 2009 at a small venue called LKA Disco! They invited us backstage/upstairs afterwards and were really cool to us all! Aefa their #1 German fan was funny touring around Europe following them in her little hatchback! I still think the Operation Mindcrime album is their best! Keep on rocking!

There is only one Geoff Tate and, don't get me wrong, it's better if it stays that way :P But, you got to feel unique even as a Ryche fan, believe me. If you're 15 and you're already "matured" enough to like a song like "The Mission", you, sir, are in for a good life. Go get 'em, kid. :)

Queensryche is incredible...I remember this tour...I went on back to back nights in Sacramento and San Francisco (had backstage passes in Sac)...amazing shows and huge electricity from the crowds...both were sold out shows...thanks for sharing.

What more can we say? So GOOD, SO AMAZING! So much TALENT! I was at this show, the next night, in Kalamzoo, Mi. It has been nearly 20 years and still this album / videos - - Video Mindcrime & Operation Livecrime ARE STILL my favorite of all time! Even now when I watch this video I find myself sitting here HOLDING my breath! AMAZING - STILL AMAZING! - "The Ryche"!
