this is FANTASTIC, but I find it simple to explain...its just numbers, skill, extreme condition and superb technique, lol "JUST"... what I really want to know is how to equalize pressure in ears without use of hand....I mean without shutting your nose and blowing...anyone?

about equalizing, free divers have a thing (dont know the name) pressing their nose, so they dont need to use their fingers, just blow all the time. My dive teacher told me you also can equalice by swallowing saliva but never tried it meself.

Some freedivers wear a nose clamp so they can equalize hands-free. BUT you can also learn to close off your own nasal passages in front of the tubes that connect to your ears. It's something you just have to figure out by trying, like wiggling your ears. Some really experiences scuba divers can do this, too. I can do it, but not yet well enough to rely on it.

it's the same thing. some countries use apnea and some apnoe (eg. Germany) dependin on language
