I LOOOOOVEEEE this... best AMV of Revolutionary Girl Utena. A video that shows a little of my taste... <3 Woopwoop! Cuz, it's INTENSE, fucked up, you can feel the aching, hatred, love, jealousy, the constant problems and questions that surrounds one in a screwed way and without knowning the consequenses, u just continue/ or let it continue round' and round'.. etcetc, YEAAAAH!!! The main thing you need to understand is that Revolutionary Girl Utena is a symbolism heavy anime and not a lot of things in it are straightforward, especially the ending. Akio believes that Utena died, but Anthy believes that Utena didn't die but escaped from the academy, and its possible that she's right.

@Chocolatecandy1961 Utena didn't die, she escaped the academy, having brought a "new revolution" to it. My doing so Anthy gets freed, and uses her freedom to go find Utena, her "prince." It's sort of like a cycle. Utena's prince helped her then Utena went to look for him, but now Utena helped Anthy and Anthy is now looking for Utena.

Also, Utena's escaping resembles adulthood. Being freed from the academy= adolescents who have matured into someone they truly wanted to be.

Haha, I was going to post this as a rec on IRG, but then I saw the name of the person who made it. Hi sharnii! This is Like_Autumn. Should have known it was someone from there. Awesome job on this. Great use of evocative scenes, and hard rock just seems to lend itself to SKU for some reason.
