Grigori Perelman was born in Leningrad, Soviet Union (now Saint Petersburg, Russia) on 13 June 1966, to Jewish[6] parents, Yakov (who now lives in Israel) and Lubov. Grigori's mother Lubov gave up graduate work in mathematics to raise him.
He has a younger sister, Elena, who is also a scientist. She received a Ph.D. from Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel.

This mathematical geniuse aint to bright in terms of general intelligence if the man just taken the 1 million dollar prize money, would be able to open up a small business shop, purchase real estate properties and resell them for more fast , easy cash. Whilst I respect his decision, I can't help thinking that perhaps he should have accepted the money and contributed it toward a worthy cause.
For example, I imagine $1'000'0000 could buy a homeless shelter or two in Lenin Hills/Stalinville/St Petersburg or wherever he is in Russia.

Jews interbread with in their own communities for centuries which created jewish ethnos. That is why for example Adam Sandler and Sasha Baron Cohen share common physical features Jews have one culture, religion, tradition and common history which makes them a nation.
