I was picked on for years in high school, thanks to the show jackass I got into skateboarding which saved my life, saved me from doing somthing self destructive! Skateboarding as well as punk rock is a positive outlet for me, I embrace being deforent, not conforming to the system or authority! Most of the kids who picked on me were those jocks and ambercrombie wearing rich preppy kids! Thats anether reason I love skateboarding we are anti jock/prep!

High school is hell, but it gets better when you go to college. I went to a Catholic HS. Four years of hell. Wish I'd had the smarts and the guts to transfer out, but I just shut down and tried to be invisible.
My advice to anyone who is about to commit suicide due to bullying is dont, but if you are still going to, take them down with you. Or at least the ringleader or worst of the bullies. You have nothing to lose if you are about to die anyway and it will make the bullies think twice before pushing other people too far.
@BVargas78 School shootings are an ugly thing. Two wrongs don't make a right. I personally find what the school shooters go through has been worse than those they shoot (bullies, of course. Many innocent people die in this too, though). I mean a shot to the head is a pretty quick death but it takes years to kill someone's soul.. I would recommend neither.

i can totally relate 2 this. i was bullied from the end of 4th grade and through all of 5th grade. then when i got to 6th grade this year it stopped. guess they all FINALLY grew up over the summer :)
