When Lebron Actually Decides To Get Serious & Accept The Role Of Being A Villain/Bad Guy Like Kobe Does Then He'll Play To His Potential But I Still Don't Think He's Mentally Tough Enough Yet...
@kileer7 yeah... i think i'm gonna be rooting for lebron from now on. i think lebron is staying away from MJ's shadow which is actually not "toxic"... and for the first time we're gonna see something new. I think that's the problem with Kobe... he just can't win the heart of the people.. only his kobetards. when he retires.. only kobetards will remember him. MJ even after a decade gone:Gatorade;NBA2011's jux so hang up dat his image is still iconic because it's original & james is on that track.
@batoattack kobetards? lol. Honestly right now I don't see everybody falling in love with Lebron. The way I see it, people are always comparing Kobe to Jordan and putting him in that shadow. Even though we all know and so does kobe that nobody will be exactly like Jordan, Kobe just wants to be known for being one of the best. But since Kobe has learned from Jordan and their game is similar, people compare them. Also the things Lebron doesnt seem to have are the killer instincts and drive to win
@batoattack ...No, That's What Seperates The Greats Like Kobe & MJ From Lebron....
THEY DON'T GIVE A SHIT WHAT THE MEDIA OR PUBLIC THINKS OF THEM...Jordan After They Said He'd Never Win A Ship Shooting That Much & How He Was A Ballhog.....
Kobe After The Colorado Bullshit & Shaq Feud....That's When They Started Playing For Themselves So That They Could Prove The Critics Wrong & Leave No Doubt....MJ Had His Legacy.....Kobe's Still Making His.....
LeBron is the greatest INDIVIDUAL player, in that he puts up the most impressive numbers in the league right now. But Kobe has the heart/determination to WIN, in addition to the talent. I don't think LeBron has the mentality of WINNING as much as Kobe or the leadership that Kobe has.
When measuring rings, you gotta look at how many rings they have AND how they contributed to that team. Horry was no leader of any of those 7 teams. Kobe led or almost led all 5 of his, like Jordan.
All Kobe fans over LBJ is his rings. But you have to remember, Kobe has been blessed his whole career by being surrounded by great players. Michael Jordan didn't start winning championships UNTIL he started getting good players around him! Same for LBJ. LBJ made it farther then ever now that he has D-Wade, and C.Bosh. I'm positive this is Heats season. Remember that Bryan fans! Kobe has been surrounded by good players his whole career. It's more than a one man sport!
Funny thing is all haters say kobe is better than lebron cuz of the ring factor, but lebron is beating that champs ass the last 3 years without ANY RINGSSSSSSS........................HILARIOUS
lebron is a kid! the funnier part is that i can actually imagine him sitting at a miniature table with a coloring book!!! sad part is that kids dont win rings....
Lebron is an amazing basketball player. But he will never be as legendary as Larry bird or mj or Kobe or magic if he is playing for the heat with wade and bosh and still not winning. Nuff said. He needs to be on a team where he is the star. That or up his game and put wade and bosh in Thier place
team accomplishments which Lebron will get eventually.... he is only 26... Jordan & Shaq didnt get a ring until they were 27-28................ Oscar Robertson and Wilt Chamberlain didnt get a ring until they were like 33.......... and they are all in the TOP 10.....
The thing that makes Kobe better than Queen James besides the rings is that Kobe plays his best under pressure. And we all know how Lebron handles pressure. Also Kobe doesnt make empty promises. He lets his game do the talking. I think Kobe is the closest thing to Jordan. I also think Lebron will be a great player once he gets his mind set right!! Its actually scary what he might be capable to do. As long as his mind is right!!
@chncchn77 Kobe sure played so good under pressure while getting swept........ you are so right.... damn Kobetard.... just give it up will ya? Lebron has been a better player since probably his 2nd year in the NBA.... He is the most versatile player in the NBA, can defend 5 positions and can even dominate 5 positions offensively.... is the most productive player since Oscar Robertson, Michael Jordan..........
Please... Kobe got nothing on Lebron besides those TEAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS
@ocsjc ya ypur right and never said he would and wade would have and your strong language isn't really making you tuff also you know Lebron is gonna go down as one of the best to play the game idc what you have to say hahaha
lebron has great skills and ability. but he does not come through because he is soft and lacks killer instinct. kobe has that killer instinct. lebron may be more able than kobe but lebron lacks mentality
@mgoboski OMG finally someone from Cleveland who actually appreciates the great years that Lebron gave the Cavs. You should be the Cavs spokesperson!! You are a rare breed :)
Every body needs to watch "More Than a Game" the documentary. It tells the story of the team that LeBron plays for though middle school and high school. It's incredibly inspiring! It's amazing and it just made me have even more love and respect for basketball and LeBron.
Robbert Horry = 6 Rings, Kobe = 5 Rings...thats retarded....... if anything go off NBA Finals MVP...so Kobe = 2 and LBJ = 0, but LBJ will pass Kobe in that regards.... LBJ WILL BE THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME!!
if u put kobe on lebron's team, they aint winning nothin, probably wont even win a playoff series. bt if u put lebron on kobes team they'd probably win 8 titles by now..
Those who don't properly follow the game-most likely born after 1995- of basketball are the ones subject to making ring references over evaluating true talent players exhibit an enitre season. *enhancebballknowledge*
@soulluvsista08 no come on im 14 and i look at stats when i compare players not rings i think thats the most pathetic way to measure players, not all teenagers are stupid about basketball
@bigmoneyluke2 I have quite a few years (too many) on you and there's still a bit of basketball I don't even know! Not to be mean but MOST kids/teens are not fully capable of analyzing these players or their game thoroughly, hell I wasn't either when I was a teen so I mostly expect them to base their comments off of ESPN analyst- like some adults. Heck your not even old enough to be influenced or intrigued by the MJ era (minus Wiz days), let alone Kobe. *imjustsaying*
@soulluvsista08 i dont listen to a word those espn nerds say i analyze the players based on stats i know your older than me but that doesnt mean that just because im a teen i dont do my homework on the nba cuz i do, alot.
@mrlljesus Actually no. That is a very simplistic statement. If we are going based on rings alone, Adam Morrison would be a great player than Lebron, Wade, Karl Malone, Barkley etc. You have to measure the role of the player on the team and the help he has. Kobe plays for a big market team that spend more money on player salaries than anyone else. If smaller organization could afford higher salaries, the league would be more balanced and Kobe would not have 5 rings. That simple
@mikester8821 if this game was about money then lebron would not be hated kobe wants to win these days the league is filled with little sissies who get $5 million + without even playing a game yet nobody really wats to win as much as they did in th 80's the lakers organisation is richer but after all those year jerry buss still wants to buy people who can win championships for the team, dont you think if he wanted lebron he would have got him ?
@mikester8821 i agree with you..its the role that a player has in the team.even posey has rings but he wasnt such a role player.i disagree with you about he would not have 5 rings if it wasnt for a big market team.dont forget about the 3-4 years he lost cause they wasnt competitive enough.i remember there were rumours that he would leave the lakers if they wouldnt bring players to help him out.so instead of saying that he wouldnt have so many rings, lets say he could have more
@mikester8821 people say its a dumb excuse but its not...look at all the teammates lebron has played with compared to kobe. cleveland tried to get people to go to cavs but they just straight did not want to play there. bron tried his best to carry the team but it didnt work out.
do you remember when kobe played by himself 2003-2007? he couldnt get over the hump either until they got him Pau Gasol.
@mikester8821 Fair or not, championships will always be how a player is ultimately judged. Think about it. If a player scored 50 PPG for his career and never won a title, wouldn't history view him as a great player who came up short? Are we to overlook MJ's six career championships and pass them over as simply a team accomplishment?
@mikester8821 yeah well when one team, Cleveland' spend as much as they do on one player, Lebron, then no they arent gonna have the money to buy more players. but last time i checked cleveland had the best record in the comp back when lebron was there, so whats the excuse now?
Bottom line is LeBron is not a champion. It's not relevant whether or not Adam Morrison is a champion. He's not in a position to be judged as a champion or not.
Jordan, Kobe, LeBron, etc., they are in a position to be champions or to be choke shows.
So ask yourself genius, how does LA continue to win with kobe puttin' up some of the WORST production in LA's BIGGEST GAMES, while CLE continued to lose in those situations, with LBJ doing the exact opposite?
ANSWER: LBJ was carrying Cleveland while LA was busy carrying kobe, and the #s PROVE it..
And please stop trying to hide behind kobe's rings because that's a TEAM accomplishment, not a gauge for individual talent, skill & ability..
EVERY TEAM IN THE LEAGUE HAS THE SAME MONEY TO SPEND (SALARY CAP avoids that).
Ljames had a lot of great teammates /BIG Z a center who can shot from outside allowing LJ to penetrate to the basket...AVarejao and BIG BEN to hustle defend and get rebounds and a good PG, and several good shooters...
@ocsjc If Kobe didnt have Shaq he would only have 2 rings Shaq was Finals MVP in te 3 peat without him you only have 2 rings Lebron didt have a team besides this year, so know your shit before you talk shit.
@TheKutter808 lebron had 2 of the best players in the league on his team nd his bitch ass still couldnt get it down so shut the fuck yeah kobe had shaq just one good player nd they got 3 rings together even if lebron woulda won the championship this year which he didnt he wouldnt have won finals mvp d wade would have
@mikester8821 Not that simple. There's no way of proving Kobe would not have his amazing success if he was apart of a smaller organization. Thats all speculation kid. :)
@mikester8821 One thing Kobe has over Lebron is heart. WHen the game was on the line Kobe comes out a champ. Lebron comes out a chump. It showed against the Mavericks.
@mikester8821 nope that is a fallacy... pointing out an advantage that a player has does not mean that if the advantage is taken away, the player would not achieve the same if not better results. Same goes to pointing out a disadvantage of a player and saying he WOULD achieve better results. but i do strongly agree that on the premise of determining which player is BETTER as a whole, rings account for very little in the debate. i love kobe, and i can deny LBJ's skills both are fun to watch.
@mrlljesus look at overall player efficiency, win shares and field goals. I guarantee Lebron carried his team more and while kobe missing a lot. Kobe is great perimeter shooter yes but Ray ALLen is the best of it. 3 point field goals are suppose to be lower forty by the way. And no, Lebron doesn't attack the basket always. He shoots 3 and had been consistently better shooter in past 2 years. Kobe is already old.
@mrlljesus Look... When you remove Kobe from Lakers and LeBron from Cleveland, tell me who is the better team? Lakers or Cavs? But now is LeBron in Heat, so new era?
@mrlljesus Your an idiot.First of all the 3 rings that Kobe has( the first 3)Shaq carried the team, now don't make me bring out the facts and just stay put.Kobe and Lebron had a horrible team at one time.Kobe didn't even make the playoffs with them until Pau and Bynum came.Where Lebron always carried the team.
@WoWCreflo Kobe did make the playoffs he just kept getting swept in the first round by the suns led by steve nash. One of those years though he did pull off an 81pt game. But who cares right he still couldn't get out of the first round lol.
@ralx225b lol true true but the 81 points dont mean a thing because first its against the raptors LOL and second he just hogged the ball all the way so it just proved how big of a ball jacker he is. I know all of you heard it already.
@WoWCreflo First that is still an NBA caliber team no matter how bad they are defensively, if it was that easy to score 81 that performance would have been repeated or closely duplicated. Second Kobe really didn't have to pass the ball when he was shooting 60% from the field. When a player is that hot you feed him the ball. Third his team was behind before he went off in the 3rd and 4th quarter to end with 81. And fourth thats like complaining about David and Wilt's play for scoring so much.
@WoWCreflo Now what you should have said was that scoring 69 points in the playoffs is a greater feat. This is something we can both agree on. Because everyone knows that scoring in the playoffs is much harder than the season. The play is more physical, the defensive strategies are more fine tuned, and the stakes and motivation is higher. Also the teams you play against are the best in the league and the games are close so there is not much time to rest. So Jordan still has the edge on Kobe.
@ralx225b Yes i 100 percent agree that Jordan has and will always have the edge.(still?)First of all Jordan played in the 90s, the hard physical handchecking era where you can actual push your hand on the player when u play D.Todays D if you dont notice that alot of the defenders put there hands up and just lets the offence pass by him. Also the 6 rings, Jordan was the MAN on the team.Kobes first 3 was carried by Shaq. Also Jordan dominated the 90's.ill continue in the next comment
@ralx225b Ok so Jordan and the bulls DOMINATED THE 90s,Noone beat Jordans team in the finals, the only time another team won the championship was that Jordan was retired or that it was Jordans first year after baseball when he was "rusty".Also today if you watch Kobe,he yells at the ref everytime and if you see the free throw comparision against the Lakers, they are greatly difference.Kobe also didn't dominate the prev decade like Jordan in the 90s.
@mrlljesus Just to add on to mikester who is completely correct. LeBron is only 26, He still has a way to come and he is just going to get better & better, yeah he doesn't have a ring (yet) but hes an amazing player and his time is yet to come, Kobe is 32, he has 5rings (n counting) why are you going to compare someone whos broken records and done his thing as a player & legend to the game to someone whos just getting started?
@mrlljesus Rings are only truly relevant to evaluating a player's skill when the named player was a main contributor to achieving the championship, i.e. Jordan, Kobe, Shaq, Magic, Duncan etc, etc. With that said yes Kobe deserves praise for his rings because he was a primary contributor during the championship's, but doesn't necessarily give him a skillfull edge on Lebron, it's actually quite irrelevant when comparing skill, he just had a better cast around him.
@mrlljesus getting a ring is a team achievement man. Just because Kobe is on championship team doesn't mean that hes better because Lebron was with the Cavs who arent the greatest team. Cmon man get it right
Every time i step on the court I think......What would Lebron do....every time someone double team me i think...what would Lebron do......It helps me everytime
The guy is good. Let it go ppl. Yeah he don't have a ring but he will get one or two before his career is over. Remember Kobe luck up and got traded to the Lakers, if he wouldn't got traded he wouldve been in the same position as LeBron. NO RING. Lets not forget Kobe had Shaq and great coach Phil Jackson. Kobe had a team by himself and went 35-47. He played more than 75 games.
Right and magic played with three hall of famers at the SAME TIME, kobe didnt do that, bird played with THREE as well. KObe had one in shaq and a potential one in pau, malone and payton were WASHED UP at that point, neway now lebron has a fellow mvp candidate in his PRIME, and throw in bosh for laughs i guess, lets see how lebron does with his SUPERTEAM, my prediction? He still wont win JACK...he doesnt have the heart or will no matter how many all stars around him
I don't understand you people. Is it so hard to just watch the game and respect Lebron the fact that he is one of the best players in the leaugue right now. Is it so hard to just shut the fuck up and stop hating on him. What did he ever done to you? And by the way, who the hell are you to judge? You guys are probably fat, lonely so you envy him. I'm not a Lebron fan, faaaar from it.
But I respect him for playing this game, because without him, the leaugue won't be the same.
Lebum the quitter..I wanted him to stay here with the sorry ass Cavs and see him lose over and over again until he retires with no rings. Omg I`m so mad..let me step outside for a second and burn some jerseys because thats how we mongoloids do here in Cleveland. I know the we got raped by the Heat here and then raped again in Miami, but it doesnt matter..I love my sorry ass team made of fucking losers.
@blunntashiz Why not respect him now? Whats different? He only became a free-agent and decided to play basketball in another city..... he was only sick of having to be a one man army in Cleveland and have his teammates get exposed in the playoffs all the time and he never complained, he just respectfully went to another place in order to put himself in a much better chanse of getting multiple championships and having teammates where he doesnt have to be a one man army.
LeBron learned everything the hard way! What ppl underestimate is that he has a guy like Wade now he motivates him on and off the court. Lebron knew he was better than everyone he ever played with. I cant remember a game when one of his players outscored him on his team! Now he has DWade, an ultimate competitor (look at ANY Cavs vs. Heat game prior to "The Decision") and the only player LBJ played w/ that can outscore him on a night. They will each rise each other up even w/ LBJ being the BEST!
Everybody needs to back up off LeBron, he is one of the greatest basketball players of our time and probably will be one of the greatest throughout history
Is it me. Or is LeBron losing his hair? It appears to me that his hair line keeps getting wider and wider. Maybe that's why he wears that head band everytime he's out there playing.
@Kdubslugga Kobe berates his teammates and demands for trades and rapes women...Lebron made a 1 hr mistake and is hated more than Kobe when Kobe is the NBA's drama queen?
@trains3434 Ehhh, people are just butt hurt now days. Kobe fans, butt hurt Clevelanders, and little kids are all finding ways to hate on LeBron. Whatever LeBron does, it'll never be enough. If he wins a ring, people wont give him credit and then they'll start comparing his 1 ring to Kobe's 5-6-7 rings, who knows...
@trains3434 More like Kobe gets all the pussy he wants like most nba players and a bitch wanted money and kobe wanted a better team cuz he didnt want to leave unlike LBJ now hes wades bitch who doesnt get the ball at crunch time SEE UTAHVSMIAMI THIS YEAR!
@Obi1BenoBEE30 Kobe nearly left for Chicago or the Clippers. Made the best coach in NBA history leave cuz he was tired of him and got Shaq kicked out of LA. I'll take Lebron over Kobe anyday. Besides if it wasnt for Pau Gasol Kobe would still be stuck with 3 rings.
Lebron is a mix of at least 3 players, he is just to unique.... If you wanna compare his talents/skills/gamestyle at that size to only one player the closest would be Magic Johnson, but Magic wasnt such a good scorer, athlete and defender as Lebron.
So Lebron is at least a mix of 3 players, like Magic, Jordan, Dominique all in one to me.
@xxwhatevahxx But Magic still a better player because he focus on get all teammates involved. He is also a great scorer, he able to make 24 ppg that is very good if you consider he focus on passing, and he low down his fg attempts allow him to make more smart shot and raise the FG%.
Magic's style makes his teammates better and also help team on offense if it needs.
But James' style only make teammates comfused, he score a lot of points but still handle the ball just like a PG? NO MAN!
@Kiran7991 okay first of all you can't call other people dumb when you spell "Lebron" wrong. Also you can't call someone dumb for voicing their opinions, Kobe vs. Lebron is all a matter of opinion not fact. Even though statistically speaking Lebron is much better than kobe in Rebounds, assists, and scoring and FG%. So who's really the "dumb twit"?
@jifyum07 lmao alright then OSCAR ROBERTSON should be better than MJ since he had better stats right? u dumbass i wont even bring up rings.KOBE=FOOTWORK, FUNDAMENTALS OF BBALL, BEST JUMPSHOT/FADEWAY/BETTER POST UP PLAYER, TAKES WOVER GAMES MORE. BEST CLOSER, MORE CLUTCH. LEBRON=NO FOOTWORK, NO JUMSHOT, NO SHOT AT ALL, SUCKS AT FREETHROW LINE, PLAYS WITH HIS BODY NOT MIND, JUST DRIVES TO THE HOOP THATS WHERE HE GETS HIS FG% FROM, TRAVELS!KING OF CHOKING! GIVES UP ON HIS TEAM. DO I NEED TO GO ON?
@Kiran7991 once again your comment leads me to believe that you know nothing about lebron... lebron's fg% from mid range and from beyond the arc is higher than kobe's (look it up) it's because kobe always takes hard shots and can't run his team and get open shots like lebron can. Also your argument is not viable, higher fg% means higher fg% it doesnt matter how you do it, it just matters that you get it done, and having a higher FG% means that you are helping your team more in the long run.
@jifyum07 (continued) and sure Kobe has better footwork, but Lebron doesnt realy on footwork as much as Kobe does, Lebron has a different style of basketball. Lebron is alot faster and stronger than Kobe is, and not to mention overall bigger which makes him LITERALLY unstoppable, and the moment you said Kobe is a better post-up player I couldnt take you seriously. All the Kobe/Laker fans think that Kobe is the best out of biased opinion, but everyone else knows that Lebron is better. (Spurs fan)
@jifyum07 I think Lebron's style can't make him a championship. He score, he pass, he do two things as much when offense. You just can't do that and expect win a championship in this era. If you do what you can do the best, it's ok. Just like Kobe is about scoring, James is about what? Trible double? No way, no one can win by that, it's a team sports man.
@jimmychuang wait im sorry but your comment didnt make sense... you say basketball is a team sport but getting triple doubles each game is the most you can contribute... that means he's crashing the boards every night and preventing second chances or gaining second chances for his team. That also means hes distributing the ball and not being selfish... and LeBron outscored Kobe last year in the regular season and the playoffs. So not only is lebron a better scorer but he brings more to the table
If you score 28 per game and have 8 assists per game, then you got to hand the ball al the time.
Every player should have their own job in a team, if you do two important things on offense, it means you do somebody's job in yur team. It means it got to have some problem in your team.
Magic doesnt need to have 10 asts plus 19 field goal attempts, Michael Jordan doesn't need to have 22 field goal attempts along with 8 asts. Jordan did it one time in one season, it doesnt work
@jimmychuang You don't understand though Lebron doesnt have the team to have his own role though... He doesnt have the team that Kobe has Lebron has to do everything by himself with the cavaliers, and your argument is still one of the most illogical and pointless arguments i have ever heard... You're actually saying that LeBron is worse for having better stats and contributing more to his team
@Kiran7991 Watch the highlight lebron didnt give up his team did. He was playing 1 on 5 and game 6 the anouncer even said he's the only one. And kobe travels he pick his pivot foot up all the time and he wasn't clutch in game seven his team saved him. He doesnt make his teammates better. You heard artest he said he's not gonna wait for kobe to set him up anymore because it doesnt happen. And lebron has a jumper and a fadeaway fundamentals- he rebounds and passes better. And kobe choked in game 7
@Rello315 alright sorry to break it to you but kobe playes in a trinagle offense where the passes are scripted so of course hes going to be limited in passes and rebounds. and kobe choked in game 7? im sorry but he didnt "choke" yeah sure he had a bad game offensively but he had a HUGE affect by grabbing 15 rebounds. he trusted ron artest in game 7. and uhm no kobe doesnt travel. lebron ALWASY does the crab dribble but the refs never call it. and lebron has no focus/killer instict watsoever!

Kobe=5 rings, Lebron=0 enough said.
mrlljesus 10 months ago
@mrlljesus Actually no. That is a very simplistic statement. If we are going based on rings alone, Adam Morrison would be a great player than Lebron, Wade, Karl Malone, Barkley etc. You have to measure the role of the player on the team and the help he has. Kobe plays for a big market team that spend more money on player salaries than anyone else. If smaller organization could afford higher salaries, the league would be more balanced and Kobe would not have 5 rings. That simple

96chocothunda 10 months ago
@mikester8821 i agree with you..its the role that a player has in the team.even posey has rings but he wasnt such a role player.i disagree with you about he would not have 5 rings if it wasnt for a big market team.dont forget about the 3-4 years he lost cause they wasnt competitive enough.i remember there were rumours that he would leave the lakers if they wouldnt bring players to help him out.so instead of saying that he wouldnt have so many rings, lets say he could have more
ItsFatBigNGreek 9 months ago
@mikester8821 people say its a dumb excuse but its not...look at all the teammates lebron has played with compared to kobe. cleveland tried to get people to go to cavs but they just straight did not want to play there. bron tried his best to carry the team but it didnt work out.
do you remember when kobe played by himself 2003-2007? he couldnt get over the hump either until they got him Pau Gasol.

suaved 9 months ago
@mikester8821 Fair or not, championships will always be how a player is ultimately judged. Think about it. If a player scored 50 PPG for his career and never won a title, wouldn't history view him as a great player who came up short? Are we to overlook MJ's six career championships and pass them over as simply a team accomplishment?
draymartz08 8 months ago
@mikester8821 yeah well when one team, Cleveland' spend as much as they do on one player, Lebron, then no they arent gonna have the money to buy more players. but last time i checked cleveland had the best record in the comp back when lebron was there, so whats the excuse now?
youngbuck0911 8 months ago
@mikester8821 There's a salary cap genius.
Bottom line is LeBron is not a champion. It's not relevant whether or not Adam Morrison is a champion. He's not in a position to be judged as a champion or not.
Jordan, Kobe, LeBron, etc., they are in a position to be champions or to be choke shows.
LeBron is a choke show.
bburditt 8 months ago
@bburditt
LBJ's a "choke show"?
LA is 31-10 in 5 title seasons (25-7 during the 3-peat yrs) in games without kobe. Cleveland was 1-13 in games w/o LBJ over the last 3 seasons.
21ppg 1apg 36.3 FG% <--- kobe’s avg in elimination games
37-97 (38%) <--- his combined FG% in career Game 7's
38-108 (35%) <--- his combined FG% in 5 title clinching games
333-808 (41%) <--- career finals FG%
FACT: he's TWICE missed the most shots in HISTORY in a finals series
blackadam06 8 months ago
@bburditt

@WoWCreflo Lebron average 30+ points during the playoffs doesnt even scratch the surface. this guy is hated for no reason
neptuneniq 9 months ago
@WoWCreflo Kobe did make the playoffs he just kept getting swept in the first round by the suns led by steve nash. One of those years though he did pull off an 81pt game. But who cares right he still couldn't get out of the first round lol.
ralx225b 9 months ago
@ralx225b lol true true but the 81 points dont mean a thing because first its against the raptors LOL and second he just hogged the ball all the way so it just proved how big of a ball jacker he is. I know all of you heard it already.
WoWCreflo 9 months ago
@WoWCreflo First that is still an NBA caliber team no matter how bad they are defensively, if it was that easy to score 81 that performance would have been repeated or closely duplicated. Second Kobe really didn't have to pass the ball when he was shooting 60% from the field. When a player is that hot you feed him the ball. Third his team was behind before he went off in the 3rd and 4th quarter to end with 81. And fourth thats like complaining about David and Wilt's play for scoring so much.
ralx225b 9 months ago
@WoWCreflo Now what you should have said was that scoring 69 points in the playoffs is a greater feat. This is something we can both agree on. Because everyone knows that scoring in the playoffs is much harder than the season. The play is more physical, the defensive strategies are more fine tuned, and the stakes and motivation is higher. Also the teams you play against are the best in the league and the games are close so there is not much time to rest. So Jordan still has the edge on Kobe.
ralx225b 9 months ago
@ralx225b Yes i 100 percent agree that Jordan has and will always have the edge.(still?)First of all Jordan played in the 90s, the hard physical handchecking era where you can actual push your hand on the player when u play D.Todays D if you dont notice that alot of the defenders put there hands up and just lets the offence pass by him. Also the 6 rings, Jordan was the MAN on the team.Kobes first 3 was carried by Shaq. Also Jordan dominated the 90's.ill continue in the next comment
WoWCreflo 9 months ago
@ralx225b Ok so Jordan and the bulls DOMINATED THE 90s,Noone beat Jordans team in the finals, the only time another team won the championship was that Jordan was retired or that it was Jordans first year after baseball when he was "rusty".Also today if you watch Kobe,he yells at the ref everytime and if you see the free throw comparision against the Lakers, they are greatly difference.Kobe also didn't dominate the prev decade like Jordan in the 90s.
WoWCreflo 9 months ago

Lebron is a mix of at least 3 players, he is just to unique.... If you wanna compare his talents/skills/gamestyle at that size to only one player the closest would be Magic Johnson, but Magic wasnt such a good scorer, athlete and defender as Lebron.
So Lebron is at least a mix of 3 players, like Magic, Jordan, Dominique all in one to me.
xxwhatevahxx 1 year ago

So who's really the "dumb twit"?
jifyum07 1 year ago
Kiran7991 1 year ago
@Kiran7991 once again your comment leads me to believe that you know nothing about lebron... lebron's fg% from mid range and from beyond the arc is higher than kobe's (look it up) it's because kobe always takes hard shots and can't run his team and get open shots like lebron can. Also your argument is not viable, higher fg% means higher fg% it doesnt matter how you do it, it just matters that you get it done, and having a higher FG% means that you are helping your team more in the long run.
jifyum07 1 year ago
@jifyum07 (continued) and sure Kobe has better footwork, but Lebron doesnt realy on footwork as much as Kobe does, Lebron has a different style of basketball. Lebron is alot faster and stronger than Kobe is, and not to mention overall bigger which makes him LITERALLY unstoppable, and the moment you said Kobe is a better post-up player I couldnt take you seriously. All the Kobe/Laker fans think that Kobe is the best out of biased opinion, but everyone else knows that Lebron is better. (Spurs fan)
jifyum07 1 year ago
@jifyum07 I think Lebron's style can't make him a championship. He score, he pass, he do two things as much when offense. You just can't do that and expect win a championship in this era. If you do what you can do the best, it's ok. Just like Kobe is about scoring, James is about what? Trible double? No way, no one can win by that, it's a team sports man.
jimmychuang 1 year ago
@jimmychuang wait im sorry but your comment didnt make sense... you say basketball is a team sport but getting triple doubles each game is the most you can contribute... that means he's crashing the boards every night and preventing second chances or gaining second chances for his team. That also means hes distributing the ball and not being selfish... and LeBron outscored Kobe last year in the regular season and the playoffs. So not only is lebron a better scorer but he brings more to the table
jifyum07 1 year ago

LeBron's closer to 280 than 260. Kendrick Perkins is 280 and the same height.
