  • Looks like David Crosby got 'Wasted' on his way....to the stage!

  • My Mood Tonight..........................

  • i wonder how many singers and groups nowadays can perform the live just as good as they did in the studios.

  • I saw them Live at Essen / Germany - It was great!!!

  • This was the first record I ever bought, when I was 14. It was a vinyl single, 45 rpm in a blue paper sleeve. it had a design that featured flying saucers for some strange reason.

  • love this song........how do you not like this song?

  • CSN hit #9 in Billboard, 8-21-82. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx!

  • thumbs up if you like the hollies version even more than this one

  • This tune has always made me look in two opposite directions...back to the past..and ahead to the future. It makes me think about so much that I've ''wasted on the way''.But, as I look ahead,to the times to come...I'm reminded, through this song, that one has to make the most out of every moment as life is too special to ''waste on the way''.

  • makes me cry everytime, but i love it

  • something to think about and relate too. i certainly can. nice delivery by the lads. thanks for the posting

  • What a great tune!

  • one of my all time favs...great band and excellent tune.. memories return:)

  • this is one of their best! I never grow tired of it. That being said any song can grow tired if over and over. But hey over and overr can be alot of fun! nadou84 I know you'll discover other great songs. Thanks for posting.

  • Do you think it's normal ? I've been listening to this song everyday since I first heard it (at the beginning of last week)...and I'm still not tired of it. It's one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Their voices are always so beautiful together, but in this song it's just a perfection. And the lyrics...I'm 25 and I'm thinking "maybe one day I'll envy all those dancers who had all the nerves...". I wish I was born in the 70's/80's...Peace everyone!

  • @nadou84 I just came across this song myself and listen to many times through out the day...but heres the joke when I came across it - it was on the Hollies reunion album I think done in 1983 or 84 Nash had rejoined the Hollies for a spurt. I love the harmonies from both groups... I think this harmony actually started when Nash was with the Hollies... they both sound great :)

  • @nadou84 Yes the 70's was a great time to grow up. Since you are still young, just make sure you heed the words and chase your dreams now, don't be afraid, otherwise you will be my age and looking back at all the time you "wasted on the way". I listen to this song alot as well. Take care

  • Billboard's #57 song of '82. CS&N hit #2 AC, #9 pop, and rock, #87 country, in Billboard. God bless!

  • Love this clip, cheers for posting it.

  • Best version I've heard so far. Love the guitar solo at 1:22. Just wish he would have played it out a little longer or done it a second time. That makes the song invaluable to me!

  • I absolutely love this song!! Thanks for posting this. I grew up with this, thanks to my dad. Brings back wonderful childhood memories..makes me sad..where the time goes. It's songs like this that really hit you deep inside. What a classic.

  • I love you my dear sweetheart!

  • this song is all our lives , dont regret too much , life's journey meant to be taken , there'll never be another CSNY ,

  • i think this and "Southern Cross" are the two best CSN songs to me.. both songs with lyrics that i can relate to..

  • @RunawayStatue2010 i know wht u mean...this gives me goosebumps

  • @RunawayStatue2010 I do agree with you - however I think you might have had a "momentary lapse" and forgot "Cathedral" or maybe not

  • Wonderful stuff----great music and harmony.

  • I think crosby was wasted...

  • I love them. Best harmony ever.

  • If I could play guitar like Stephen Stills and he had a feather up his ass we would both be tickled.

  • they all look and sound great

  • Comment removed

  • Lol Crosby at 1:15 - 1:21

  • And you could do better? lol

  • I don't find them painful to watch at all - I think it's awesome to watch them. Everyone ages, and they have done it as all of us do - different looking on the outside, but same on the inside, and with those amazing voices.

  • Let's say Stephen Stills is painful to watch, more than David Crosby!

  • they look fine to me

  • thx, very nice!!

  • This is great, thx for posting

  • I thought this song was from the fall of 1982.

Can someone link me to the original version?

  • Sounds perfect, I'm a big fan of Crosby Stills and Nash, thanks for uploading this :) 5/5

  • It's lovely to listen too - painful to watch. Lets say David wasn't at his best lol
