Very nice, Mamod has recently come out with their own version of this engine called the 'brunel' . I am currently contemplating buying one.

Reliable low speed is a major advantage of geared locos. For me a general problem with 16mm scale live steam is that it's difficult to get a realistic speed without stalling.
