Thanks so much for uploading this video! It's by far the best documentation about Bordeaux I've ever seen - so many details, so many interesting stories... Absolutely great work!
if you like wines and have a Philips cdi player i highly recommend the wines of france from 1995. the disk although 15 years old, gives an atmospheric look at the different wine regions, vintage years with suitable period music and several other topics . there is a sommelier game, recipes from notable chefs such as marc haeberlin, jean michel lorain and alain pic to go with wines, a really good disk.
I'll have to make time to watch this whole video some time. It seems interesting. I think it's pretty funny how industrialized all the footage in the opening credits is compared to the classical music and soft dissolves. :D
lucky you lucletp, i am visiting bordeaux for the first time thsi summer and cant wait ... to enjoy it's culture and all what she is offering... long live la france
Great video on some of the top chateaux! - I have visited and had wine at most of the greatest ones, the most spectacular: Chateau Petrus..... Best Bordeaux tasted: 1. Chateau Lafite Rothschild 1982 2. Chateau La Mission Haut Brion 1955 3. Chateau Pichon Lalande 1982 4. Chateau Trotanoy 1982 5. Chateau Mouton Rothschild 1982 6. Chateau Petrus 1981 7. Chateau Lafite Rothschild 1986 8. Chateau Siran 1961 9. Chateau Haut Brion 1985 10. Chateau Cheval Blanc 1985
Love it

Immer eine Reise wert, leider sind die Top Weine in den letzten Jahren sehr teuer geworden.

I drank a bottle of Chateau Petrus one night during a barn dance in Somerset.
I had the shits big time the next day and ruined my new karate suit.
Never again.
