You need to jump back a little bit when doing hardflips otherwise you won't catch them, once you get into the habit of jumping back you land them a lot more. It's pretty much the same with any flip that rotates frontside. Lot easier than inward heels though, that's a messed up trick to flip.

I recentley got my Hardflips back, here is a couple of tips.

1- just practice the rotation until you can do it everytime, once you got this down its time to land it.

2-As soon you flip the board jump as high as you can and as the board finish's the rotation, gently put your front foot on it to stop the rotation, then your back foot and roll away.

*****If you dont commit to it you will never land it or you will get creditcarded****

@CartoonsOnlyChannel hardflips are not as simple as kickflip+shov, unlike a varial flip, which is. ive never landed a hardflip but ive come close. i know what you mean. you just have to get a feel for how it flips bc its a weird trick. i learned how to flip it by accident when i was trying an ollie north. so i dunno, maybe try those :)

I put my back foot with the same position like a 360 flip and then I put my front foot let there be a space between my front foot and screws and then I ONLY ONLY scoop with my back foot and the board do a hardflip between my legs and then my back foot is on the floor and my front foot is on the board.. Just think of it as a front shove kickflip. I was high and thaught about what they really where and landed them all day. When doing the F pop shove dont have your back foot like a regular shove or tre have it in the have it at the edge of the concave like you where about to do a crisp ass kickflip. But front shove insted.

The best way is to think of it as a ollie, and pop straight up then flick out. It goes higher and it flips better, because I hate seeing people do hard flips that look like front pops. But this guy has nice hard flips.

Because I broke my ankle when I was a kid and because of it I can't do kickflips... so I really want to learn something like a hardflip but using a heelflip.
