I do think that because of To Catch A Predator, he'll be less likely to do this in the future. I can't know for sure that he won't go back and do it anyway, particularly since he escaped a guilty verdict.

Maybe since he didn't go into the house they couldn't prove he actually intended to do anything with the decoy? Or maybe they couldn't prove the decoy actually made him believe she was a minor? He actually got acquitted by a jury - found not guilty, so it must have been a really weak case to begin with. So for ratings and entertainment, he's put thru hell and in the end he's innocent.
