I think the reason for men seemingly having a "worse" cold\flu than a women has more or less to do with our brain differences. Women never stop thinking and their brains are going in too many directions at once, they don't focus as much on how much pain they are in. Men on the other hand, with our single-task oriented brains just heavily focus on the pain, and we feel worse. Men perform single tasks much better than women, and women multi task much better than men. SCIENCE BITCHES!

Can't say I've ever felt my colds are worse than any women in my life and I usually just wrap up really warm and sweat it out or, if it is really bad, take 24 hours of complete rest, lots of vit. C and I'm usually OK by the following day.

I know this was just a joke but I do sometimes get a bit irritated when men are genuinely stereotyped like this.

While I do genuinely sympathise with your point about your nuts, imagine having that same level of intense pain every 2 minutes for about 36 hours and then you might understand child birth. Luckily women do have a higher pain threshold because if men had to birth the children ... the human race would die off ... really I'm being serious. :)

That's impossible to tell. I'm assuming you're a woman, in which case you will never know what it's like to be hit in the nuts; if you're male, then you, like myself, will never know what childbirth feels like. Therefore you cannot say a man can't handle childbirth, nor can you know what hurts more. From observations, childbirth looks more like a continuous pain, but a strike to the nuts looks like sheer agony. I'm not saying it's not painful, I just believe childbirth's overexaggerated.

After the first time I got kicked in the nuts I swore that I would do everything in my power to avoid the pain from ever happenning again.

However, women are happy to have multiple childbirths, despite all the apparent "pain" that they try to convince us of.

Seems pretty clear to me: if they're happy to do it again then it can't hurt that much!

YES! Thank you, someone with logical reasoning. I hope women learn to understand what you mean. If childbirth WAS as painful as being hit in the nuts, no-one would do it. I know I wouldn't go through that pain simply for a child. And especially now that C-sections exist. If childbirth really is THAT painful, every woman would be getting caesarians to avoid the pain. Trust me, if there was an option like that to avoid the pain us men go through, EVERYONE would be doing it.

C-sections are not an easier option, I can tell you. I've done it twice and it's a major surgery, cutting seven layers of your tummy to pull out the little cute parasite of yours. (I do love my kids buy that's what I used to call them while I was pregnant. :D) It takes much longer to heal as well. Apparently, women forget the pain so that they have more babies but I still remember. Vividly- so never again!!!
