the most stupid thing they did in this game is when the charecter you control die the whole fight will be game over! so no mater how many phoenix down you have it will be useless your team mate will not gonna revive you or atleast you get the chance to control another charecter in the battle to heal the downed one like the older FF games but when one of your allies fall down you can use phoenix down to rise him / her up o_o

this is one of the reason why boss fight's is nuts in this game.

When the 5 heads uses destructo switch to relentless assault and chain him to about 175% you will see him get hurt and the move is considerably weakened so you can switch back to diversity

EPIC NOTE: on Mr chuckles [bathandelus] when he starts to use desructo, SPAM THE CRAP OUTTA HIM! his attack will decrease by half or more

actually for cid the easiest way to beat him, use a synergist to power up your team and them, switch to tri disaster and stagger him , then he won't transfrom and then beat the living shit out of him, if done correctly you'll beat him in under 4 minutes.

all you have to do with destrudo is rav + rav + rav and spam lowest lvl spells to take the hit count from 20 to 6 for the attack.

on barthandelus when he charges his destrudo or watever use evened odds(med syn sab) so youre sure to not die...

In the first Barthandulas fight, attack him when he charges Destrudo and it will weaken the damage!

Hi, about number 9, Ashter. I try and try and I just can't seem to beat him. I ran out of Phoenix Downs and literally was sitting on the couch for 20 minutes soloing Ashter with Lightning. I tried doing whatever you guys said in the video and I don't understand how anyone can get a stagger on this guy. The second I attack the guy's chain gauge just does back to 100 in only a couple of seconds and then he kills me. I also can't summon Odin, wtf?

the first time your figthing the proudclad, if you don't stagger him, and go slow, he won't use his stronger attacks. This worked perfect for my under levled team. Just using a sentinel the whole time, and stop attacking just before he's stagger'd works! u need to heal to ofcourse ^^

He was wrong about not using magic on the small heads for Barthandelus. Each small head is weak against one element each. I.E, lightning for the far left.

You're wrong about your strategy for destrudo on Bartandelus. The more you attack him during this charge, the less damage it does.

I killed Cid in 2:45. Couldve been faster too. I beat Bahamut in 1:24, while fucking around :).

why the fuck is sid and dokan whatever the fuck his name is on the list sid is fucking easy i killed him on my first try i used tri disaster and staggered then used cerberus he was not that hard dokan was not hard either he barely had any strong attack why isn't barthendelus phase 2 on the list

lol you say no loss when hope dies.. but i wasted ALL of my pheonix downs on him, and then when i got to the dogs things :P and when sazh died i couldnt revive him which rendered vanille useless.

Sid is actually very easy, just stagger him and have double commandos and time it so that you use smite. It takes 1/3 of his HP and you shoul'dve done more than 1/3 from before.

I don't know why people have trouble on that first boss you mentioned. All you have to do is cast Libra and he is incredibly easy plus it seams more people forget that "discretion is the better part of valor." In laymans terms think before you act.

The Turtle boss thing was polled by the gaming community on Screwattack,Gamefaqs and Gamespot. That creature was on practically everybody's list. Pus many of us over at GZ had issues with this boss, that and Odin. Thanks for the comment though.

@kNIGHTWING01 Well I suppose one other advantage I had was that my Crystarium was maxed out plus I upgraded my equipment a little (the gladius and the hawkeye to level 6). I also switched to Commando to launch him when I staggered him. Still I found him incredibly easy plus I have played a ton of different rpg's with different battle systems and tactics. BTW did you find the Turtle hard the first time you fought him?

I lost the 1st time I fought him, 2nd time used a shroud and made sure to use Super Solider to get my defense up. I didn't figure out the complex weapon upgrade system till Chapter 7. While this game is better then 12, its not better then the classic FF games. Very different, I can't say that I enjoyed my time if this game. Once my vids are done, I can't wait to get rid of the 300 GB off my hard drive. Im almost done with the Summons and Review. I will post them this week.

@kNIGHTWING01 Classics will always remain classics. There is no denying that, especially when it comes to rpgs personally, the rpg for me this year will be Golden Sun DS.
