  • I couldn't wait for your next video...So I was lookin threw some I had not seen...Glad I did....Sweet finds man...& congrats on your wife's Eyeball find...That ring looks like it can get you (or her) some

serious cash....Good info on the SEF coil.

I had the 12 x 10 and hunted most of 2009 with it.....Got most of my goodies with it..But decided, since my 2 hunting buds were finding just as much with the Pro coil as I was...I went back to the Pro, & less weight..Got the 8x6 sef tho..Killer coil

  • that key could open a old mansion! xD could be crazy!

  • those 1943 p nickels i hear are worth 50$ for g-4 condition and there some nice silver coins.

  • My book doesn't give a value for less that VG 8 . and its less than a dollar at that condition. I think these nickels have more bullion value than numismatic value. There is a 43P error coin, its worthh around 18$ in VG 8 cond. in my book. Thanks for the info and for commenting. HH

  • what a awesome finds whitin just ONE week metal detecting!

  • Great finds bud and Bigtime Congrats to your wife for eyeballin that 14k in the road!!! I just got the 8x6 SEF coil a few weeks ago and I suspected that my SE Pro was messedup as it was constantly making all kinds of noises every swing even with the sencitivity on 10, heck it would kill a fully charged battery in about 8 hours. Once I put my new SEF coil on my machine it was dead quite so I know its the Pro coil and not the detector so I gotta send in my coil and get it fixed....

  • Thanks Fiend, Bummer on the pro coil, but its easier to replace the coil , than the detector. I'm waiting for the ground to soften up a little so I can dig. Sounds like a short in the coil wire or windings , by the way its killing your batteries. You got the SEF just in time huh? Will be interested in seeing some video on the 8x6, hope it gets you some good silver coins , I know it will. You can get a good 1050 coil used on the F M forum, best of luck to you and your friends , HH LaDigger

  • Hi LA. this one yen made in 1949(昭和24年)

(1948~1950). there's a value from 20cents to 3 dollars here in japan. The sale price is 1000yen( 10dollars) in coin shop. Good luck on your next hunt.

  • Thanks for the information on the coin gregdigger, it's pretty old , and I will keep it in my found coin collection. Thanks for your help. HH LaDigger

  • You're welcome.

  • great video thanks for sharing

  • Great vid La, thanks for sharing your finds , HHunting !! PAT

  • Man, that's a lot of coins! They all spend. Nice class ring and '35 Buffalo. I haven't found a Buffalo nickel yet. I don't have a big coil, just the stock pro coil that came with my detector. This week I'm going to crank the sensitivity and run that baby hot to see how it performs. On air tests I get more depth when I do that. I'm still learning about my detector. LaDigger, do you use Iron Mask on your Explorer? If you do, then what's it for? Just curious. Best of Luck on your hunts!

  • You'll find a buffalo yet, it'll happen. IM should maybe be called iron unmask. When you open iron mask all the way , you will get audio on all hits. Its a different name for audio discrimination I guess. If you put in some I M , your detector threshold sound will go silent when you pass over a target that would normally hit in the range you have disced out with I M. If I use ferrous sounds, I usually use little or no IM. see next comment. LaDigger

  • If you use conduct sounds, you need some IM, because hi conductive iron will sound like coins and its better not to hear it all with con.sounds.Yeasterday I used conduct, IM -10 , and sens, 22 , and did alright in heavy trash. The numbers for sens, and IM are different on the EX se and etrac, but you can relate to what I'm saying. You need to hear your threshold , set it barely audible if using IM and conductive, and work your signals good. HH Ladigger

  • Usually when I get an iffy signal I'll switch to Quick Mask with a wide open screen (no discrimination) to help me decide if the target is worth digging. I've never hunted in QM though. Thank you for taking the time to answer.

  • Glad to see a video from you. You'll find the other coins to pay for your coil. Nice silver ring! Hope to see you again soon.

  • Very Nice Finds
