Thank u for this great video, I visited China a few months ago and one of my favorite places was Guillin and surrounders. Magic place.

Guilin is breathtaking in its massive scale, you'd have to see it in person to know. The caves there are some of the most fascinating, and the people are notably friendly and generous.

The contrast between the modesty of the small group of people there and the large, vivid and lively natural world that surrounds them is the opposite contrast in most modern cities.

Great video. I'll try to make one of northern Nepal when I go there in 3 weeks and share it with you all.

ps: I think that is the old guy in your video clip. He scolded me for taking his photo without permission and I had to tips him RMB10.00, LOL. Anyway a small matter.

Yangshuo in mainly tourist place for the gweilou. You can get a steak for as cheap as about USD 2.00. Beware of the old guy with the black bird on the pole on his shoulder. The bird is trained to catch fishes and the fishes are kept in its throat. He will charge you for the photo taking. So, please ask his permission before photo taking. LOL.

Guilin is a nice place but the property market have gone up. My god daughter(11 year old) and family are in Guilin. But food are still very cheap. You can get a bowl of meehoon, (rice noodle) in the back lane for as cheap as USD 0.40. You should go to the pedestrian mall for your shopping. If you go to a restaurant, try one of their local dish = deep fried duck beak(mouth). It is lovely, tasty and crunchy.

i have been there for one month. if you climb the mountain , sit there to watch the sunset, it's breathtaking beautiful. The mountain is much easier to climb than you expected. try it.

Man, I've been to Guilin, Yangsuo and Long Ji.. Probably the most beautiful places I've ever seen. If you go there, be prepared to feel like you're leaving someone special when it's time to go. I've got withdrawls. I'll be back soon..
