  • Rosie ran into the hounds

  • I'll bet 99% of you didn't know this song existed...so enjoy...even though it got cut from about 20 min to this 8:39 version. Originally it took the entire second side of a 33rpm side.

  • @stilrockin2010 I use to rock it so dam loud the needle would slip over bounce back in the same spot. Or was I stoned again?

  • this is my song i like the creedence cuz my dad i used 2 listening 2 them des de chico im in mexico

  • †he bes†

  • Yeah... in my dad's blue GTO and an 8-track. lol

  • @guideher Learned how to drive a 4 speed Ford Pinto to this music ... Thanks brother.. RIP your light will always be on

  • how many of us listen to Creedence because of our fathers :]

i remember while i was driving with my father and this song in a manglar :0

  • i'm probably weird because i only checked them out as they were mentioned in the movie; 'The Big Lebowski'. my dad likes the eagles .... I can't stand the Eagles.

  • I dont like The Eagles either. They can stick their sunworshippers religion up there asses.

  • Uhh... What do you mean? The Eagles sunwhorshipping? LOL!

  • You know, I don't know who I got into them, just love them blues. But yeah, must have heard it somewhere. Maybe through the gravepine....

  • would u believe it was my mom who got me hooked on rock n' roll?

  • yes.

  • @BinLadenMustDie368 yes!! i do believe, because it's the same for me, XD

  • @BinLadenMustDie368 my mom got me hooked on this group lol.

  • i am not speaking english- but this song is of poca madre

  • jajajaja claro que esta pokisima madre xD

  • A great song and great riffs. Lot's of "blues" in it. Great job

  • My father loves this song and he was 2 years old when it came out, now he's 42 and I've liked this song since I was 12 now 18. It never loses its different beat and this is originality at its best.

  • That rhythm section is like the Grand Canyon, a deep groove that isn't going anywhere. It's just there, steady like a rock, not moving for anybody, solid and strong, while John's vocal/guitar storm blows all around overhead. Magnificent.

  • me to,and i am 66.

  • one of the most hardcore friends l have is 67. another 66 and 60. you old guys rock

  • Yes we do,because the music was born in our time, and those lame songs my parens listen to became dead that moment I heard jailhouse rock for the first time.

  • i knew i wasn't going crazy. hardly anyone ever knew what song i was talking about that CCR did. Thanks so much for posting it.

  • lo mejor de lo mejorcarlos fuerza diesel

  • I was 18 in 1969 ...man this song gets my eyes bloodshot just hearing it !!

  • give me goose bumps

  • Dontcha just love this 'Swamp Music'!!

Thank you for supplying us with all these classics, Mr Paladin.

  • CCR was as good as rock ever got.

  • i was 14 when i first heard this i do like to choogle

  • just to reply to earlier. Brian Jones was never kicked out of the Stones, after all he was pretty much THE sound of the early Stones and by far the best musician of them. In fact he was found dead in his swimming pool during a party. He had been badly wrecked during the evening. For me the Stones were never as good after that.

  • I suggest you google ' brian jones kicked out of stones ' and see what comes up. Three weeks before he died, he was booted out. It was a HUGE story.I remember at the time, when hearing about his death I thought he must have killed himself out of despondency.

  • never knew that , must have drowned himself.

  • is true the letter ?

  • Epic song! CCR at their best

  • my father and a great friend were on the cleanup wrecking crew to this accident, it happened just north of Baker California when I was a child, and the guy who caused the wreck worked as a cook at the bun boy restaurant there in Baker, we all knew him.

Sad thing is that these horrible accidents happen every year, several times a year on that 6% grade coming into Bake Ca.

  • i could shed a tear of joy finding this track.

    what a band!

  • Make my eyes bloodshot just to HEAR this song :>))

    demais....

  • Creedence simply was the best rock band America ever produced. Total purity of sound and instincts.

  • you nailed it there man. Instinct. They got it. Instinct and mood. hard to define, but you can hear it

  • ...CCR for ever

  • this is great smoking song, i havent' been baked for a year or two and hearing this i want to smoke. drug habits aside, this is an awesome song, fogerty sounds like a swamp monster.

  • wasn't Brian Jones completely obsessed with Proud Mary, playing it over and over?

  • Bill Wyman said he would've rather played bass for Creedencethan the Stones. And the Stones auditioned Stu Cook a while back when Wyman left.

    Weird connections.

  • John Fogerty's message:

     Drive carefully.

  • after he was kicked out of the stones brian jones was planning to form another band with ccr as a model - he said they were making the best music in america

  • really? jones would play with them or what?

  • as i understand it he would form a band and play music like ccr not w/ them

  • Superb ! got any more,

  • I just wanna feel like getting high on some grass! just like I did it back in the sixties!!!!

  • any one have the real video of this great song?

  • It might be out there, however I have never seen it & I'm a big CCR fan :)
