What the fuck is going on with these guys. If there was a D3D version of BLOOD I would fuckin' buy it!!! There would be money for them. I love this fucking game. Its awesome. The plot, the atmosphere, the enemies, the sounds. I grew up with BLOOD. Give us the fucking source code!!!

The blood source code is I think being held by Matt Saettler a former code designer and stuff for monolith and the code is also being held by other sources. According to my sources Matt does not want to release the code for fear of legal issues the only other people I think who might have it is warner bros, Atari and thats about it. I think if all the fans get together and tell them we want the code and how badly we need it they might just consider it but people have been trying for years.

Man I remember playing Blood on LAN at my friend's place back in the day. It was freaking awesome. The single player rocked, too.  One of my all time favourite games.

this was bloodbath remake of Blood on one of the quake engines.

the thing that pissed me off is how they did multiplayer before single player, and then at the same time forgot bots!

I want the original blood, not a spiffied up MW2 version!

And the weapon animations are very, very bad looking when I played it.

Guys just look for Hypertension. Its a new game being developed for the Sega Dreamcast, PC, Linux and Mac.

It will come out sometime this year, and its really looking great so far! Hypertension is "Based" on the Blood universe, but is in essence a re-imagining of Blood. Search for "Hypertension Dreamcast" in youtube for a really bad ass trailer!

they are all only Caleb and no they are 3d models! the creators of this eventually plan a total Remake of the Original Blood PC! all that is available to play, is only line or Bots only! however you can upload tons of maps down load custom maps and possibly even make your own! =D i cant wait to see it totally finished but its been a long time since they started it! =P

XD well...i haven't played it forever...let me think...the only bot you can fight are Calebs...have you been able to do that? cause if so that's what i meant! XD i saw previews of what the actual Zombies and stuff might look like a few times, but they still haven't finished it! XD

Unfortunately Monolith made alot of changes to the build engine code for Blood, they achived rooms above rooms and a few other effects that where thaught impossible on the build engine.

Monolith says GT interactive has the source, GT says Monolith has the code, its a no win situation. But eventualy someone will finnish a remake, source code or not.

Not yet, they're still working on it. Staff is limited and few in between. Not like they can have a full paid staff and have the game out in less than 3 years. This is a free project and it takes time.
