Well...from what I wrote on a research paper in high school was, that apparantly in some of the websites i found, they said that the Dinosaurs were the dragons. in 1841 a guy named Sir Richard Owen or someone like that came up with the name dinosaurs, so dragons became dinosaurs. dude the T-Rex would own the Dragon, 1st if dragons were real, they would have to be small to fly that fast, like allosaurus size. 2nd if dragons were real they couldnt breath fire, they would burn their insides to a crisp. 3rd, T-Rex is like a prehistoric tank, but quick, its heavily built and made to be fast to take down large prey, making the dragon a prized meal. with all those facts... a smaller lizard with wings is easy snack.

well to put it simply dragons have two tubes in their throat. One provides a flammable gas from which it originates I do not know. The other supplies super-heated gas from inside the dragon. Both tubes are angled so they hit each other at the end of the dragons mouth when the "ingredients" get ejected. So there you have it from what I know about dragons.

If dragons really existed how come there are no dragon skeletons recovered? Paleontologists have found plenty of fossiles from long extinct animals and plants, but never from anything which would resemble a dragon.

Here's the main problem. For such a huge animal, the wings would have to be enormous and the muscles to flap these wings giant. It's impossible. The largest ever flying animals were ultraleight compared to their size and utilized strong winds to make them airborn.

I am sorry to correct you here but only an estimated 19% of prehistoric remains became fossilized and about 6% of those fossils were destroyed over time so for all we know dragons did exist in prehistoric times, I am not sure about past that time period but it is possible they existed in dinosaur times..

I watched this show a long time ago. It said that they had hydrogen sacs near the lungs that would contract and release hydrogen gas and it kept rocks in its mouth to create a spark which ignites the hydrogen. Thats actually not so uncommon to see animals that ingest rocks and bombardier beatles have sac with hot vinegar so it actually a pretty legitimate defence mechanism, though highly improbable.
