  • So....if I dress in a leopard skin outfit, cowboy boots, and have that haircut....I can shoot a laser out of my guitar? .....Kick ass!

  • I'm the only one my age that has such a vast interest in genres of music... 13 years old lol

  • I can't believe this song, video, doesn't have any more views. This was and still is, a KICK-ASS song!

  • CLASSIC ASS WOOPIN TUNE THANKS!

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!!!!!

  • i guess the machine guns had nothing on the laser guitar.

  • So forget all that you see.

    It's not reality, it's just a fantasy...

(love the way he whispers it...)

  • What a badass song....gotta love the leopard suit...this was a "crank it up" moment whenever it came on the radio. Great time for one hit wonders....

  • Love this!!!

  • @kellytm3 get a life addict!!!!!!!

  • Rock On !!!! Aldo Nova!!!

  • I like that the video is live but it isn't what we are listening to, the studio version is always better! Very unique choice. Great post :=)

  • THE DAYS WE COULD PARTY AND THE PIGS DIDNT BOTHER US VERY OFTEN !!

  • what the...

  • Back when music was still fun and creative. Today's music is for pussies.

  • Brings me back to the Roller Rink days...

  • my stepdad used to play this song over and over again while trying to sing along. he had a terrible singing voice and even drove the same car, a 1983 pontiac sunbird, midnight blue. it was a graduation present which he drove until he fucked up the transmission in 92. it now rests peacefully in the junkyard behind mr balkema's house.

  • Thanks for uploading this. Takes me back.

  • I think the pimp was the only black guy on MTV until Billie Jean came out. Except for a few "Closet Classics" with Hendrix..

  • when i first saw this music video, i thought aldo nova was a japanese guy.

  • The keyboard riff was most certainly inspired by Jefferson Starship's Jane.

  • It's "Aldo" not "Alda". A great Canadian song and glad to hear that he's back on tour with a fantastic band.

  • Aldo & I have the same haircut.

  • Do you think that this is guitar riff is what inspired Weezer to write Hash Pipe????

    Listen carefully!!!!!

  • one confused white boy!

  • I only listen to this song in my parachute pants, Ocean Pacific muscle tee, Reebok hi-tops, and of course, Wayfarers.

  • Class of '87 here

  • Class of '87 here

  • @cajun812 ...... Class of 87 here too :/

  • a real classic song. I remember those days

  • Such a cool song and music of the 80's lives forever!!! Class of 1988 baby! :O)

  • Second concert I ever attended.....Aldo Nova opening for Cheap Trick at Mississippi Gulf Coast Coliseum in Biloxi. He had some band named Axe or Axxe opening for him--never heard anything more from them. Tickets were only $18 for general admission.....man, those were the days!

  • Too much Compression on the recording sounds the same on vinal

  • God, the flashbacks *twitch*.

Every time this came on: "Hey it's rock you like a hur... oh wait, it's not."

  • man, this guy rules!lazers shooting out his guitar, leopard PJs,cloaking ability at the end...like i am back in high school!

  • yea but the leopard suit .....on a guy....WHY

  • @sunsetbutch He wasnt gay thats why!!!!!!!

  • Leopard print one suit .... Fuck yeah.

  • This was the first video I watched on MTV when they had originally aired back in the 80's and when they played music videos.

  • this song rocks wish they made more they r are a canadian band cool

  • this song rocks wish they made more

  • as non-existant as an Aldo Nova fan...

  • Aldo Nova the 80's man!

  • I saw Aldo Nova twice in concert, back in 1982. It was great both times

  • @BananaJSSI

Was one of those times @ the Rose Bowl Opening for Journey? I was There, Too!

  • @Gabby9292K1 I saw Aldo Nova twice in Vancouver back in 1982. The first time he opened for Street Heart in April 1982 and the second time he opened for Blue Oyster Cult in Aug. 1982 at the Pacific Coliseum. Both great concerts.

  • @BananaJSSI My Gig was Aldo Nova, Triumph, B.O.C., & Journey on July 2, 1982, @ the Rose Bowl. Safe to assume there were 100,000 There.............

  • @Gabby9292K1 That would have been a great concert. I saw Triumph in Feb. 1983 Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver approx. 10,000 people there I would guess. The first time I saw B.O.C. was in Aug. 1981 at Empire Stadium in Vancouver. There was 5 bands in all. Ted Nugent, Heart, Loverboy B.O.C. & if I remember correctly Cheap Trick.

  • @BananaJSSI has Aldo Nova ever been the main act???? and do they have more hits than just this one. fantasy is a great song. but its the only aldo song that got any airplay!!!! tell me if Im wrong, but billy squier probably made ten times more money than aldo did.

  • @thevealchop68 I don't know if he was ever a main act, but he definitely had more than one hit that got lots of air play. Ball & Chain, Can't Stop Loving You, Victim of a Broken Heart & Hold Back the Night were all Hit songs by him. I saw Billy Squier in concert as well and he opened for Queen.

  • Good fun memories.

  • I see why you called me a burn out, that comment is the stupidest I ever made but what I am referring to here is the little part where he whispers "its just a fantasy". I love this song and I thumbs uped it. My other channel where my name is "uilium"is where I put all my good videos but I still need to weed out some embarrassing parts...

  • BLA BLA BLA its just a fantasy BLABALBALBLA

  • @jpintam 1989 ROCKS FOREVER!

  • Factoid about Aldo Nova ... Before becoming this rockstar "Aldo" performed as George Harrison in a Beatles tribute band.

  • we used to skateboard on our nash's to dis...we did

  • Hey Trolly McTrollerson, ha ha ha. You totally got gypped. Les Pauls don't shoot lasers. Any idiot knows that. Get yourself a Paul Reed Smith--the green one with mother-of-pearl inlays. That guitar rocks, and it blows stuff up, too.

  • Was good tunes..Rapp was makin its way at the same time..Rapp sucked and these guys made a diff. rock n roll most people liked.

  • @jason75 Took the thoughts right out on my head. New music takes no talent it sucks and half the time they repeat the same stuff over and over again. Like hey ba ba hey ba ba. But Music like this makes you feel something. The way it should be thumbs up to all you people born in the 90's but missed your stop through the 70's and 80's! I am only 20 but I'm not stupid this is where it was at!

  • @jason75 Man i Have be saying the something for years Glad to see there are still people out there that know what good music is 50"s through 80"s was and is the best music we had this stuff today stanks white people acting like there black and what you think about MTV & VH1 Thoses channals turned into garbage bring them back to the way they used to be good music videos do you Agree ? give me your comment love to read it. Thanks

  • @jason75 Class of 86!!!!

  • Despite how some people feel about Aldo's attire in this video, in my opinion, it SURE BEATS what some entertainers are wearing on stage, TODAY!

  • so true. life IS.....

  • Lovely skin tight cheetah outfit eh? bet dude regrets ever wearing that now.

  • lmao, if wore that,,i'd be embarrased about it..wouldnt want anyone to see....

  • At least we were original, no need to relive the 50s 60s and 70s like you punks today lol.

  • haha i love that big ass smile on aldas face

  • 1982

  • I thought this was the shit in the 80"s .ROCKS!

  • Can you imagine THIS song being played in TODAY'S night spots and/or dance clubs? In my opinion, YES, THIS songs ROCKS, but kinda' has a "dance" feel to it. Club owners/managers-TAKE NOTE!
