@shadowjac13 haha, thanks man. I find that video game music often has bass notes that go very low. If I remember correctly, this song even called for a low A, below the B string. I didn't tune it down, just moved the part around a little bit. I haven't seen a video game song yet that didn't use a note below the low E on a 4 string.

@shadowjac13 What I would suggest is either transposing the part (which I'm doing now for the covers on a 4 string) or getting some really thick strings for your bass (.110 - .55 for example) and tuning down to B, or even A, depending on the song.

@metallicaxjavoxmcr Dean Hartail! :D It'd suggest trying one out at a local store if they have any. There's the Select model (one with a trem bridge, one with a tunomatic), which has a flame top (like mine) and has coil taps on each pickup with a Les Paul knob configuration. It can get a lot of awesome tones. And to top it all off, the stock pickups sound really good. To me, at least. But yeah, I'd suggest trying one out.

Jesus christ Put more tone to it and lose the mids man I'm not sure what kind of pickups you're using but on your Red guitar which looks like an ESP I'm sure those are either EMG's or Stock ESP pickups but holy Christ man you should really drop the mids and bring the tone up a bit if you're trying to go for that metal sound But other than that you did fucking awesome. wasn't trying to sound like a total ass but I don't know in a way I guess the sound is a personal preference
