LOL I had to laugh at your porn reference. You have probably already figured it out but there is a way to delete the ones on the scroll shelf. Helpful so that once you read a book you don't have to scroll through it to get to books you haven't read. You rest your finger on what you want to remove for a sec and it will give you the option to add to favs, download or remove.

the thing that keeps a list of your most recent opened items on the home screen is called a carousel. you can remove items from the carousel in the same manner you can add items from the carousel to the favorites.....press and hold the item in the carousel

I have a really good important question. Can you use Amazon gift cards to buy books, comics, apps on the Fire? I will not be using a credit card for anything online so it's important that I can use gift cards to buy my books. I know it sounds old fashioned to some perhaps limiting yself to gift cards, but I have been burned before with an online company that compromised CC information.

I hope I can just "REDEEM A GIFT CARD" similar the way I do on my Ipod using iunes cards.

I will not be getting this because I already have kindle 3. it serves my needs of an ebook reader. I also have the Motorola Xoom so buying this wouldn't be lucrative to me. looks great though for those who don't have a tablet and want both an ebook reader and tablet in one. nice review!

I would not get it because: 1. would have to re-buy everything that i currently use on my iphone/ipad 2. there is no sd slot so i can't import my own books or videos 3. even with the amazon cloud there is just not alot of room on that thing for my taste because i like to keep my apps/movies/book/ etc with me at all time, can't always depend on the wifi when i am out and about. Good review though keep up the good work.

For the Silk Web Browser, the reason being is that the more people use the browser, it actually collects data on very popular websites and then saves them later for faster loading in Amazon's servers. So in a week or so, the browser should get a little faster. That's what I hope so.
