As much as I liked this show, I always found it hard to believe that any sane military,para-military, or semi-military organization would hand command of its most powerful submarine over to a civilian, especially one who had no respect for them in the first place.
Pardon me as I reminisce deeply about this show. Ah... Such a shame they don't play THIS on TV, don't get me wrong, I love Star Trek, but switch it up a bit will ya! This show was great!
Nice memories. SeaQuest is still one of my favorire Sci-Fi shows ever (along with The X Files and the 4400) - unique storyline, great acting, great idea. Adorable series!!!

Lol! I totally forgot both Deluise bros. were in it and Sam Raimi's bro. The only one with a job still is Peter Deluise. RIP Roy and John.
