  • I've seen them Everly Brothers live in Holland, in Arnhem, in 1990. There was Duane Eddy as well. Although I am not from the fifties and neither an American , I think this is the real music...I like this video. Thanks.

  • There is a Paradise on Earth

  • This was the 25th year anniversary special and now we are coming up on the 50th. '61-'11 Long live Beach Boys music.

  • Great. Alan

  • Remember watching this on TV... Wife Kids and I have seen the in concert at least 4 times... One of the best was at Wicomico Civic Center in Saulsbury, MD... Last minute tickets... said to be prro vie.. But we were right behind them with an unobstructed viw, and they turned around and played to us... How Cool...

  • Hi from the uk

Thanks derek for this posting,my 2 fav groups in such an idealic setting..wish i had been there..........once again many thanks.

  • One word is wrong in the description of this video : "live".

  • You are right, it was live at the time of the performance but not now.

  • Also, they were singing along with pre-recorded tracks at this Waikiki gig in 1987

  • When was this show?? and why are the audience nude?

  • beach boys 25th anniversary -hawaii 1986.its on bootleg dvd on many sites!!

  • wow!!!! a geat colaboration, beach boys and everyly brothers. all i can say is "so heavy!!!!!"

  • Amazing, i love The Everlys and the Beach Boys.

  • i wish i could be there.

  • the Everly Brothers singing Don't Worry Baby was fantastic.

  • better than the Beach Boys original version.

  • One Word.....

    Awesome!!

  • these guys can really sing - the Beach Boys are king s of harmony

  • It was the next year , I believe. I heard it on the radio then saw it on a Juke Box at Pizza Hut. I put in a request on BBFUN newsletter and someone responded that they had a copy for sale. I bought it and think I still have the 45. Great song

  • what is it called and how can iget it?

  • I grew up with these guys (on the radio). They are from different genres, and I didn't know that they had ever performed together. What a treat! Thanks derek868. Good Luck to all! -from the Captain..............

  • HARMONY!!!!!!!!

    Takes my breath away.

  • Love the Everly Brothers!

  • i love how they transition from don't worry baby to getcha back.

  • I remember hearing this show on TV and loving the Everly Brothers on this great song. Later the BB and THe Everly Brothers recorded the song and realeased it as a single.

  • this song reminds me of the old days, even now I'm only 10 years old!

You know what I hate rap.I think rap is crap.

Unlike all of the dumb people these day's.I think that this is the only kind of music should be aloud on the radio. (Lexie)

  • Wonderful video, and wonderful memories.

  • Gosh guys can't you see Mike Love does not have an ounce of talent in him! Why does he own the Beach Boys name now??? Yikes I pity youngsters who watch Beach Boys and think Mike Love's Beach Boys is The Beach Boys, hehehe. Would you guys believe he even brought in his son to join??

  • He doesn't own the right to the name. He leawses it. Al Jardine's son, Matt, was in the group for yearws and did a great job

  • absolutly fantastic harmonies but no real solo vocalists here. :) great vid duke.

  • AMAZING...

  • Marvellous footage. Thanks derek868

  • Fantastic, the only word to describe it.

  • everlys were before beatles and so pathed way for double harmony-never knew this vid exsisted, love beach boys too great too c this

  • IM FROM IOWA and so are the everly brothers and the beach boys are my favorite group of all time so this is amazing!!!!

  • Ohhhhh... Magic!

  • I convinced my husband to go to an Everly / Beach Boys concert years ago. He was delited! Being that he was a die hard Beach Boy fan. I on the other hand was very disappointed to see the Everly's basicly being the opening act for the Beach Boys.

  • This is the reason why I'm grateful there is a YouTube and people like derek868. Thanks for sharing. This is outstanding!

  • it pains me to say it cos i love both groups, especially the Beach boys, but Don't Worry Baby wasn't very good... Picked up a bit for Wake Up Little Suzy... You can tell it was the 80's anyway, and not only by their age... Great to see them both on stage though

  • that was far beyond awesome

  • Two of the biggest 1960s names from two of the biggest genres - country pop and surf - together. Awesome !

  • Brian looks so goddamn thin.

  • those were the days...

  • I've always wanted to see Brian work with the EB's. Kinda like The Traveling Wilburry's. It would be Brian, Don, Phil, Art Garfunkel & Ringo on drums. and

  • great video thanks for posting

  • This is so cool!! but the drums will never be the same without Dennis

  • These guys together sound excellent.

  • This is from the BB 20th Anniversary Show. Also from this show is a great version of Ray Charles doing Sail on Sailor and a wonderful ´God Only Knows´. Post them if you can and thanks much for this one with the Everlys.

  • A lot of really talented people on that stage.

  • a little "Getcha Back" mixed in, too

  • Two very different song yet sung so brillantly by them all!
