@TECfan1 think about it, Cars won't be cool forever. Disney is pouring money into this "land", when it won't always be the cool thing. They should have went with something more vague; look at Disneyland, there aren't any lands dedicated to one movie or one character, that's because Walt and the other imagineers knew that it would be hard to go back and change it to the next big thing.

@tiaisawesome7 originally the land was supposed to be Car Land. it was suppose to highlight the car enthusiast lifestyle and California was one of the epicenters of motor culture. they were going to have a road trip ride (having a goofy theme). it just has a cars movie theme around it now. and Disney did pull one of those before, its called Tom Sawyers Island, go ask a kid if he knows who that is, he won't have any clue. or he'll say that boring book he read in grade school.
