@gloomyoutlook the crew travel for many hours across the world. SYD-LAX is probably the longest flight from Europe and The Western Hemesphire. You can tell how tired that lady is. I do agree that she should be more polite next time, but shes trying and probably half asleep

Hi what did you shoot this with..?? looks like much better quality that a cell phone, and how did you keep it so steady.?? Tripod? At 2:38 you hear the engins roar why is this? anyone out there know? Also if you full screen it you can make out the Hollywood sign at about 3:28 before it dissapears into the Los Angeles smog. I'm headn back to LA soon will shoot approach and landing oifcourse but gunna be hard to beat this one keep em commin

Best LAX landing video on youtube!!. Note to anyone flying to Los Angeles if you want the best views sit on the RIGHT side of the aircraft window seat behind the wing, you will see downtown LA the observitory the Hollywood sign ect unless you get a reverse approach but that is rare

I thought electronics weren't allowed during takeoff and landing but looks like you got away with it ok. I'm tempted to take my iTouch and record with that. It's not a phone so I don't think it's a problem. Great vid!!!

@cmsavage if your talking about ipod touches, they have an option called airplane mode in the settings, so you just switch that on and you can use it during your flight :)

@gkvoddy Yes, that's what I did, although they still requested that *all* electronics be turned off. I (obviously) turned on the airplane mode and happily recorded the takeoffs and landings and all that. I wanted to put it on youtube for others who wanted to experience it, since there were sooo many people who requested to hide in my suitcases!
