  • Gotta love Tassie!!! That was really enjoyable. Another amazing (and similar) tour is around Tasmania's Bruny island...I highly recommend it...seriously, put it on your bucket list!!!

  • @1sunbear Yeah, I basically chose between the two

  • from Mindy-I love dolphins. My dad used to read me a story about pink dolphins that were friendly and happy.

I didn't understand the book as much as I just liked hearing my dad's voice. He was a singer & performer, and I liked his voice.

I also liked sitting on his lap, 'cause I felt safe and loved there.

  • @vickiormindyb That's what stories with dads are about :)

  • The water is ice cold - you'd want a well insulated wetsuit

  • My dad thinks I'm crazy for getting a video camera that's more than $100. He was mortified when I told him the guy who's getting it for me gave me a limit of $500 just for the camera.

He said my friend's gonna lose all his money.

I said he hasn't for 20 years. He keeps working. He's in a movie every year. If not a movie, then he does Broadway productions-something he guaranteed isn't going to offer a fall back to Tom Cruise.

The way he said it made me laugh..

  • Tell him I spent about $800US on mine.

  • that place looks amazing :)

you have some serious skills in filming places

  • I've been practicing for a few years

  • @AngryAussie let me add your camera is also fantastic. the ccd's must be huge because i feel like I'm there with that vibrant color and that's at 360p!

  • My current camera actually uses CMOS sensors - way good quality.

  • @AngryAussie Nice! Even as I typed that I half-thought to myself I havent read the stats on a camera in 5 years! But I typed ccd anyway. Gotta learn to trust my instincts:)

  • @AngryAussie Oh and at 720p THERE looks like it is HERE! lol!

  • Hard working seals at work hehe now thats the life and the caves and nook and cranies would be great to explore but that platform and flying fox at the end dont look to sturdy there.

  • The winch system isn't used anymore which is why it's decayed a bit.

  • The divings pretty good around there as well. It drops to about 20 metres and there are underwater caverns all along the cliffs

  • And you only have the legions of jellyfish to worry about

  • Yeh, some of those Lions Mane jellys are big bastards and the blue bottles are nasty as well. So long as you stay deep and don't surface under one they don't cause many probs.

  • Who was that who waved?

  • Just some tourists

  • @AngryAussie Ah oki =D

  • holy balls those are the Cliffs of Insanity!

  • Yes they are!

  • That's Awesome- you just made me wanna visit Tasmania, when It was on the bottom of my list!

  • It's really worth it

  • What hit me about the Tasmanian cliffs, even when I went there as a kid, is how they appear to be man made. The tessellated pavements are similar to a tiled floor in a surreal slope into the sea. The rock stratas have elegant designs. The Organ Pipes litteraly appear to be organ pipes. This is a spiritual experience. Then after you made this, the Japanese came and turned it all into a bloodbath with "Research" written on the side. The Pope of nature would not be pleased ;-P Blessings The SAINT

  • AND the seals are awesome scratching their faces with their tales. I think Dolphins are wonderful intelligent mammals that play and are friends with humans. Some humans abuse that trust...I mentioned the blood bath, yeah, being hypothetical, but that does happen in Asia and even in some Australian waters...

  • Yes, there are a few bits that don't look natural

  • i luv tassy go there on holiday all the time btw how much does ur cam cost?

  • Check in a camera shop

  • what kind of video camera are you using?

  • Details on my channel page

  • Music is very nice and relaxing :) Nice choice! I lived in Tasmania in 1998. It's so beautiful :)

  • It is very scenic

  • We went on a holiday to Tasmania and I would have to say that the Tasman cruise was the best part. I loved the candle stick and the glowing plankton. Perfect whether for it too.

  • We had a great day as well

  • Heya Angry, epic video, I loved it. Wish I could go there, IDK, maybe one day, who knows.

Anyways, what was that big chain thing going across the water used for, the one with that big deck built to the side of the hill. Do you know, it's interesting and I just want to know the history on it. Never seen anything like that.

  • It was a winch used to lift supplies to the island when there were families living in the lighthouse

  • Ah, Thanks, cause I was sitting here going, oh, thats a really cool looking contraption, but WTF is it. For like the last hour or so, LMAO!

  • I live in Launceston ,Tasmania, and I didn't know Tassie was like that haha Might have to make a trip to the south if that's where it was. Might be too much effort though, 2 hours in the car... but very tempting :P

    <3

  • There's a lot to see

  • Starcraft, try living in America for a while, you would soon appreciate Launny, especially the Gorge, in the States you have to be a multi millionaire to live near such a view. And what most Americans call hiking is a 1 kilometer walk on a paved trail along a man mad mosquito ridden muddy lake. And what they call a lake we call a pond ! :-)

  • Can't help but love that seal at 5:50 "I'm king of this rock" LOL

  • Breathtakingly beautiful scenery. Thank you :O)

  • Jellies!!!!!

  • Lots of them!

  • The reason I wrote that is because I had a visitor from Australia come to the beach (Massachusetts, USA) and when he saw a few jellyfish (ours are harmless) he darted out of the water screaming "JELLIES". I'd never seen him run so fast to shore. LOL He had to explain his fear. When I recall that moment I laugh. Sorry for all the comments, I tend to comment as I go, this vid was longer than your usual vids.

  • That's cool, the guide had been stung by these ones and said it felt like hot wire. But we have others that are far worse and can even kill you.

  • Hence, my friends reaction. I suppose you should always keep the senses alert when enjoying paradise. If you didn't have the jellies, sharks, spiders and snakes in Australia EVERYONE would live there :O)

  • 100 bucks, well worth the investment. I miss Tasmania. :-(

  • It's definitely worth it

  • LOL! Seals sure know how to relax, don't they?

The rock formations are amazing. It looks like a giant ancient temple in an Indiana Jones movie or something!

  • The highest cliff was about 1000 metres straight up

  • Holy crap!

  • DUDE.......................you go to the best place in the world it so beautiful now i know what i going to do when i can go some where and you got to see wonderful animal in where they should be! your a VERY lucky man you know =)

  • It's well worth a visit

  • Looks like a beautiful place :)

  • It sure is!

  • Tasmania looks nicer than the mainland, pity about the Tasmaniacs though.

  • @KaiksKan Hey! I take offence :-)

  • Everyone I met was very nice

  • I just wanted to say 'Tasmaniac', and my bad side couldn't think of a nicer way to put it in a sentence.

Personally I never met a Taswegian I didn't like (had to say that too, lame as I am).

  • AWESOME! Thank you for Sharing!

    Keep on YouTubin!

  • No problem,

  • Dolphins can be such cunts!

  • I guess

  • Happen to catch the Test while on your travels?

Amazing footage aswell, that coastline at the begining is stunning.

  • No, I was sightseeing, not watching sport.

  • I wish I'd known about this when I was in Tassie - it looks like it would have been so much fun! On the up side, all the scenery reminded me of my trip, so that's a good thing. It will just have to go on the list for next time.

  • It's really worth is

  • Beautiful scenery.

  • Sure is

  • My Granfather and I went sailing in his 22 foot yacht up the east coast and the dolphins were literally racing beside the yacht from when we left wineglass bay to when we got to schouten passage

  • They seem to love swimming alongside boats

  • They're arguably the second most intelligent species on the planet, and I sometimes wonder if they're not the smartest.

  • Smartest? Based on what evidence?

  • beautiful scenery

  • Agreed

  • Good one.

  • Cheers

  • Amazing, I dream of migrating to Australia sometime.. :)

  • It's worth it

  • looks like a cool place to visit, thanks for sharing

  • Look at my beach videos ;)

  • @AngryAussie

    haha ok man i will

  • My whole life I have had dreams about Australia, as though I have been there in some past life. I am pulled, almost, to specific places there. I really must visit sometime. Until then I live vicariously through your videos. They are beautiful. It is obvious that you have true pride in your homeland.

  • The tourism board should be paying me :)

  • you are now inducted into AWESOME WORLD

  • It's an awesome part of the world

  • I wish this beauty was in America (Northeast) so I could visit it cheapy. Great stuff Aussie!

  • You can visit this way :)

  • Ha ha exactly. Next best thing! :}

  • How did you do a moving surround shot? 6:55 to 7:15.

  • If you look closely at the water, then you can see the boat's own wake - the boat is turning in a circle, around the dolphins in the middle.

It's hard to tell from just looking at a video, of course. But to churn up the water like that, the boat is probably fairly speedy and agile, doing a reasonably tight turning circle there.

So the surround shot is mostly down to the boat turning.

But it does make you think: "wait, if he just spun around 360, how come we didn't see the boat?"

  • I was on a boat!

  • Lukeywes1234 got 11 - 15,000 subs in one day then got banned due to being underaged, Your opinion

  • Don't give a shit

  • This blew my mind!

Makes me want to visit Aussland even more!

  • That's my aim :)

  • Absolutely beautiful scenery, good soundtrack...though the one at 2:44 coming in made me feel uneasy with the transition xD

Hard to find find place like this nowadays...

  • It's actually random music from my editing software

  • @AngryAussie Your editing software has good taste lol

  • Dang, I might consider making a trip there. Amazing shots!!

  • You should go if you get the chance

  • all of the music for this video sounds like porn music. Does it not?

  • That says more about you than the music

That's some impressively cultured and civilised porn you've been watching. ;D
