Unfortunately, what Palin should do is allow the democratic canidate Begich to take the Senate seat, as he was 2nd in election. Palin probably won't do this, because it means the Republicans will have one less vote in the Senate. Plus, Palin would be handing the Democrats even more power. She can also call for new elections, but this is costly. As Begich lost by a small margin, this isn't a choice. Therefore, she will put in one of her "friends" whom she owes a favour. Alaska deserves better.
Your logic is quite good. I've still not quite made up my mind about her, what appears to be an earned reputation for ethical government with what also appears to be a willingness to put aside those ethics when it suits her. My gut tells me she'll put either herself or a crony in that Senate seat
why did the gov not go in and freez all arms at the 4% they came in at? then make them go throught the forclosers that were due to late patments and reinstate them if they have a job or jobs still?
THIS TOOK PLACE ON MY B DAY!!! srri i just wanted 2 say that lol

I think she would appoint Steven's replacement as herself if he won and then was convicted. But it looks like his rival may win.

Any suggestions/guesses who might replace Obama and Biden (and possibly Hillary Clinton) in the Senate?
