dude im soo frustrated with mine. i cant get the little pin at 2:40 to budge at ALL, i have put so much muscle into it even my own body weight and i cant get it to move!!!!! >:( it pisses me off because mine shoot too hot for battles i got too and all i want to do is change the spring so i can use the gun
Thanks a lot my man, I am one of those who wont dare dissassemble a piece of hardware without first having an understanding of how to and what to expect. You helped me out clearing a gear jam I ended up having after 8 months of having used the rifle. Top quality rifle I noticed as I went through it. Thanks for the help navigating the rifle buddy!
@jackdaripper369 Only if you get the proper battery and wires, that stock (assuming i know which one your talking about) is very finicky with other things, it really is better to get a different stock
good video but can you make another showing specificly how to take off and put on the pneumatic blowback system? i didnt quite see it... :( lol thanks!
so i took mine apart and switch the broken piston head and put it bak together and now it shots alright in semi but when i shoot a burst of full auto after releasing the trigger the gun makes a rrreeeeeehhhh sound??????
@jackdaripper369 Yes but then you would lose the blowback, i would suggest just swapping parts. If you need help with that, messege me and ill post a video on how
great video, can you tell me if those gears are metal or plastic? and using a lipo how long do you think i have with the gearbox before it self constructs because of the lipo haha. and what would you suggest putting in it to make it lipo ready?
@joemanhp The gears are metal. Using a lipo with all stock parts will actually last quite a while. I put at least 10,000 rounds through it with all stock parts and one hell of a lipo and nothing broke. The gun is pretty much lipo ready as it can handle fine just stock. If you plan on upgrading the rof then you will at least need a new piston, gear set, and motor (motor sucks).
i try to open mine. didnt work well. one of the screws lost its shape and is a circle now. any ideas please help. and my guns gears are jammed. please help. thanks
@dragonslayer2535 If you are saying that you stripped one of the screws you will need to get a screw extractor from a local hardware store and remove it. You will then need to find a replacement screw
If you mean the buffer tube then simply tighten the screw inside of it at its base. If however you are referring to the stock itself then there is no way to tighten it. Most retractable stocks have some degree of wobble. If you are inclined to reduce the wobble then take some electrical tape and place it on the inside of the stock.
@mikeharryhunt0311 not really... i think 11 screws total and your in. the worst is the body curl slide, which you have to "beat the shit out of" I'm thinking about replacing the blow back cylinder and going with standard to hopefully gain 10 or more FPS w/ a m100 spring.
@Renegadeairsoft Not really sure what you mean by being in two peices but if you are having trouble getting it off just do what dididothattoyou said a few comments down.
also i just need gearboxes and gearbox shells i cant look at that would be a good decision also thank you ATCUairsoft for helping me get my gearbox out with this vid
hey guys my airsoft gi g4 flaming hog gearbox shell just broke so i need some help finding something im not a real gear head and i either need a new gearbox or gearbox shell that is reliable and affordable i don't think it needs to be blowback but im not sure ty anyone plz respond to help me thanks =) make sure that you give me one that will work
Thx, dude!! I got the diablo today, and I understand that it's the same body type. I need to downgrade the spring for CQB, and I'm kinda new to this stuff. REALLLY helpful.!
im having some problems with my motor, it sounds like higher pitched than normal after i tried disassembling mine, cud u give me any advise? like is the motor to high and clipping the gears to much or wat? thxs
@ironman97912 Play around with your motor height(the tiny hex screw on the botom of your motor plate). Tighten it all the way then loosen 1/2 turn then fire and loosen the screw(1/4 turns) until it sounds correct. If that does not work then your gears could have loose shimming.
@ATCUairsoft Actually the best way is to wedge the gearbox between your knees or something, then put a flat head in the grove and hammer until you get it off. My metal piece has been through hell with all my disassembling and the metal has not bent on me yet so don't be afraid to use some force. To get it back on do the same thing in the opposite way.

@GlenXD It can be tricky but take a small flat head screwdriver and put it between the 2 parts and pry slightly not bending it. It is OK if you bend something just bend it back when assembling. It just takes patience here is a video that illustrates it well. /watch?v=O9_2xfdKzVw&feature=related
