I worked for them for 3 years as a cementing supervisor and even survived the layoffs of 2009. They perform their services as well as anyone. But they treat their people like crap!! Made us stay all night in the seats of our pickups on locations simply because it was not safe to drive home at night. I remember having to stay out when we finished a well @ 9:30 pm because we could not make it home before our 11:00 pm driving ban. We were 2 hours from home.

Slumberger is one of the best Well Services offered in the USA and world wide. Being Blue is Cool. As it was told in Kellyville one rule of thumb- "Don't Do stupid Shit!" Yet everyone dose it from time to time still even me.

But as it stands BJ's, Halliburton, Weatherford and many more each hold a color too but its not as cool of a shade as Blue.

As a consultant i have worked for all the service companys, slb is the wost, poor pay, poor rotations, treat people like stupid little kids. Engineers are brain washed, most of them cant think for thenselves, lots of back stabing, finger pointing, managers who dont have a clue but can bullshit a good job and operate a computer. The more of an idiot / arsehole you are the further you will go at slb!

Well you can complain about Schlumberger and its pricing but its funny when customers stop using us to go with a cheaper service company.Then they come crawing back on there knees because the cheaper company cost them more money.Did I mention that it was the Superior Well Services ..lol I love it when you fly by night operations mess up.

Just been out on a coil job in the north sea and watched slb fuck up an easy straight forward acid job. Lost prime on the pump but kept pumping anyway. Resulting in the job having to be done twice and costing the rig a whole lot more money. Once again slb make mistakes, just like the rest of them. All that training and the operator doesnt even know when he's got prime on the pump.

All these other well service company's all have ex-slb crews working for them. SLB train the guys up and BJ, Halliburton, Weatherford just come along and offer them more money, and off they go. Its a well known fact in the well service industry. BJ, halliburton weatherford don't need a training school because slb do it all for them. I dont work for slb, just telling it how i see it.
