The dawn of the console ruined gaming for me, games today feel, play and look all alike, franchises riding off on the glory of pasts titles, dumb down and made just interesting enough to be profitable.

I miss the old times when games were radically different from each other and had engines that were built from scratch like Battlezone, Sacrifice, Baldur's Gate and the old Quake series (1-3).

I'm just glad he didn't utterly trash the game like most reviewers who couldn't even shoot straight in the single player (or platform for that matter). I personally had fun playing through DN Forever regardless of its shortcomings, but then I didn't go spend full price on the thing, and I played it on PC.~

The PC controls are bad. You're not missing anything fony. The mouse feels sluggish no matter what the settings are on.

Ratchet and clank series (and the first Resistance game), when you get a weapon its yours forever. the "swich weapons button" jest swiches your current weapon for the last weapon you had out and holding the button down brings up a page of all the gun and items at your disposal, in fact there are multiple pages to flip through to hold all the awesome stuff you have. Why did DNF not jest do that? Its such a simple concept that I have no clue why they did not use it.

DNF blows big time. It is so stupidly linear and badly designed that I can not believe it is the same engine used for Bioshock. Aliens ragdolls are retarded bad animations, some of the jokes are not funny whatsoever and the 30 sec load times are clearly unacceptable.

What? Can t save a quick load status? Sooooo disapointed with this game, worst $60 I ever spent on a game. That will teach me to buy before reviews.

Anybody who dislikes this game is retarded [Haven't watched the review yet!] - I'm sorry, but this is Duke Nukem, and they did infact give us that, I don't care for 21st century graphics or amazing gameplay, if i'm buying Duke Nukem and they give me that, i'm more than happy.

I payed for Duke, I got myself a Duke. I am satisfied with this, and they couldn't have done more, as all they needed to supply was Duke Nukem.

Fony just buy it on the Xbox live arcade. They have multiplayer there and you still get all the guns you just have to cycle through them by hitting y or something like that you don't just get to hit the corresponding number with the gun. PC is much better but 360 has multiplayer all set up

Maybe Duke Nukem Forever shouldn't of been made and maybe they could have made like an HD remake of the original. Duke Nukem Forever was a pretty big disappointment for me considering how long it was in development. Had such high hopes for it :(

@Azerathify About "a HD remake of the original" - that is actually in the works by a Danish studio. They're remaking Duke Nukem 3D in Unreal Engine 3, the project is called Duke Nukem 3D Reloaded. They're not even going to charge for it. It looks really awesome, I'd definitely check it out of you're a fan of the original Duke Nukem games!

Lol @ your Rant on the Ol Dial up days. All i can say about that is, I never had call waiting, so, I know and feel the pain of having someone call me up during a C&C Red Alert match.

As for the review, I'm glad you reviewed the game for what it was, unlike most people, who seem to just want to point out every single flaw known to man kind, regardless of whether they even enjoyed the game or not.
