  • Hi there, can someone please tell me if these inks are permanent? or will they come off in the wash. Thank you

  • @rollingstone100 as long as you heat set the ink they wont come off in the wash

  • haha charlie brown christmas music. good shit

  • Can the squeegee be any smaller?

  • Yes but if the squeegee is smaller then the image on your stencil it can leave streaks along the two ends of your squeegee. We will be posting more videos soon on our photoez cbridge.com channel.

  • did you burn your screens like normal?..using emulsion?

  • what kind of paint should be good to use?

  • @ayojillie Choose a paint (ink) that is designed for silkscreening such as Jacquard or Versatex. These paints have to right thickness and slower drying times require for silkscreening.

  • Can you make multiple prints without rinsing and without losing clarity?

  • @kwikwater Yes. Number of prints you can make in one setting depends on how fast your ink dries. Just be sure not to let the ink dry on your screen. That can ruin it.

  • you need a screen printer...

  • Why print black on a black shirt? If you already have the details, burn the negative of that image on your screen and save the time and materials.

  • agreed!

  • This video is great. I just purchased the yudu on sale and will use the information in the video to burn my images.

  • what is photoEZ sheet made of? and isn't that a green film? help me please., because i cant afford a photoEZ sheet

  • does this ezscreen print work well with halftones do you think?

  • Yes, if you know how to set it up in photoshop, all black dots, no greys.

  • what paint does he use?

  • Acrylic

  • Best paint (ink) to use is water based inks designed for silkscreening. They have the correct consistancy and slow drying times ideal for silkscreening. We have Jacquard or Versatex inks available on our site at cbridge.com You can also use Speedball or even solvent based inks such as plastisols.

  • did you just say screen? Did I miss in btwn pt 2 and 3 from emulsion sheet to how it got on a screen???

  • This rocks! Will try!!!!! Thanks!

  • i want the ET shirt lmfao!!!

  • thanks for the information,do you know where can i get a squeegee like that, any local stores??,thanks

  • try an auto body/parts store - ask for a bondo putty knife

  • thats so much this really helped me a lot....quick question....did you or do you have to dry it with like a special light when your finished?

  • what is the green thing?? what's it called??

    thanks!

  • Thats pretty cool. Check out my videos for tutorials on screen printing and heat transferring tee shirts. Questions welcome.

  • great videos

you're like the Bob Ross of screen printing hahaha

    thanks a lot!

  • very informative, my first shirt came out like crap, I put the ink on the screen instead of the squeegee, my mistake, next time gadget, next time.

  • thanks man, gonna be making some shirts this summer

  • Can you put them in a frame ??? instead of tapeing

  • wow

  • this is very informative!! can u use screen print on other fabric?

  • i've been looking at so many silk screening videos.....but like seriously, yurs is the most educational. it was consice and got to the point.

  • how did you made those screen?

  • where do u get that green paper

  • couldn't you just invert the colors in before starting the whole thing? So you only have to print white? Or does layering it yield better results?

  • I think you can - but you'd have a white outline as oppossed to his black outline with white on the insides

  • how do you cure your ink?

  • I used a product that you mix with any acrylic paint to use for silk screening - made by Golden -- silk screen medium :)

  • Check out my channel for videos explaining the screen printing process. The channel is dedicated to teaching the basic principles of shirt printing.

  • Great videos! Do the images ever become cracked or worn/washed out some time down the road or do they last for years?

  • thankyou so much. that tutorial was a lot simpler and straightfoward than i could have hoped for X)

  • damn I love your site... thanks for this video and the website and the tutorial... Does the paper comes in 11x17

  • what kind of ink do you used...

  • damn you solved all my problems... I went to your site... but I couldn't figure out what type of paper or the name of paper you used as screen.

  • i'm here in the philipines. does the film products can only be bought online? could you tell me a better name to be more especific here in our local stores? tnxs

  • do you have to use tape? or is there a thing that you can put the screen in?

  • Good Question, I don't use tape anymore you could just hold it down. I also do my prints in full 8x10's only, these were cut to short you need a few inches on each side so you don't get paint all over the shirt. To answer your question you could buy plastic frames or mount them to wood frames if you know how to do that...eww that was alot of typing.

  • alright thanks for your help. i think i will try those plastic frames.

  • thanks for the tutorial

  • you're gonna stop saying you're gonna

  • how many time can you use a screen

  • What kind of ink did you use was it like Latex ink? and can you use spray paint?

  • also when you wash the prints do you just use water to wash off the ink?

  • yes. I have a plastic storage container that I fill with warm water before I start the print. Then I apply the image, then soak the screen right after. I have a plastic screen and paint brush to help get the paint off also. You never want to have the paint dry on the screen. This will take about 6-10 minutes to dry to the screen, so you have some time to work and do more then one shirt at a time if your good.

  • i was wondering how do you dry the ink?do you need a flashdryer or is there something else i can use cause i want to get started but not spend too much on it

  • Just a hair dryer set to the warmest setting. Get about 1-2 inches from the ink and move in a circular motion around the print. Do this for about 2-3 minutes. Use Jacquard inks they are the best on shirts.

  • ok thanks haha i think i will start making shirts and sell them

  • Thanks. My friend and I just ordered supplies from the website and were worried that we might need special tape because we couldn't find any on the website. We're so excited : )

  • Is that regular tape that he's using to put the screen down?

  • Masking tape, but I have found latley if you just hold down the screen firmly with your hands you don't need the tape.

  • why use 2 colors when the 2nd is black just use one, white with the design inverted over the white screen also what is that your using, instead of photo emulation on a screen?

  • Yes, but this limits other projects I might want to do with this image.

  • want ink u use???

  • Thanks man! I have been looking for a stencil maker everywhere and came buy this 200 dollar machine and I was like UGH and then I found EZ so I'm happy!

  • how many uses do the screens last for?

  • I have used them 100's of times. The key is soaking them in warm water right after you use them so the ink has zero chance of drying to the screen

  • That was so cool!! Loved that ET shirt.

  • Thank You.

  • why do you need to do the black paint if the shirt is black? you could just use one stencil

  • I do that so I could put this design on other color shirts.

  • I remember doing this in school and I was using white ink on a black shirt and I got a tiny bit of ink on the sleeve. I was going to get a few points off if it didn't come off, so I used black ink to cover it, lol. Bad idea. Now it looks like someone smugged black oil all over my sleeve.

Great tutorial, very easy to follow.

  • nice!!

  • es lo miso que el proceso de estampar con una pantalla, esto es aun más incomodo e impreciso

  • can you multi color and also can you make the iamges bigger?

  • good work. is the kit available in the UK, if not u guys ship internationally?

  • What material you use for your screen? I mean the paper name........& did you cut out the IMAGE individually? or AFTER you Xpose it....you just leave it as it is?

  • what kind of paint do you/should i use? i don't want the print to be all hardened

  • read the info and the paint is on that site.

  • That images you had there...DID you CUT thm out?

  • The image gets "burned" into the photo paper, then washes out in water. Let it dry, then cut to the size you want. Or don't cut if you have a 8x10 image.

  • Looks great but could've done it in 1 colour (white) if he had inverted the image eh?

  • Yes, but this limits other projects I might want to do with this image.

  • Absolutely. Can you get this in the UK or is it only available in USA. :-|

  • how do i output my art in 25lines halftone
