Divin!!!
I find this live rendition more appealing than his studio recording. I think, seeing it has the what Rubinstein called 'the personal touch' of a live performance, it has that extra element of emotion and improvisation that is so enlivening to a performance. Bravo!
i've only heard on of his studio recordings of this, i don't know the year but its on 'the early columbia recordings' album, i like this live recording more. Sounds very interesting that there's another recording of this, the studio one i heard he added a few of his own deviations from the original, still sounded good though
Yes! Now there are TWO studio recordings of Cziffra's Spanish Rhapsody exist, one is in 1957 (EMI), the other is in 1955 (ICA). I really want to upload the 1955 version, but I'm not sure it's legal or not :P
Ohhh, okay! I have the EMI recording, which I like a lot. But, if you say that the 1955 recording is even better, then I'm excited to hear it. I'd really like to hear Cziffra's performance of Rhapsody in Blue.

I like his studio recording better, but this is certainly more lively, as are all of his live performances.

@yellingLoL
Then you must listen to his 1955 studio recording!! It's much flexible than the 1957 one :)

If I'm not mistaken, I believe it's the 1957 version. Then again, I've only heard one of his studio recordings if you say there are two.

@felix0911176727 You should absolutely upload the 1955! If there is a legal problem, youtube should let you know once you have uploaded.
