  • how cool will it be to hang with bob and nev in heaven

  • God bless Rapid Robert Feller. My dad saw him pitch. One of the best ever, maybe the best.

  • R.I.P. Bob Feller and Nev Chandler

  • I had the great honor of meeting Mr. Feller at a sports collectors show several years ago. He signed a baseball for me. He noticed the "Navy Veteran" cap I was wearing, and he started sharing his Navy experiences with me, and asking about mine. He made me feel like HE was honored to meet ME! I could have spoken to him for two hours, and not talked about baseball at all. What a great,down-to-Earth guy. That baseball he signed is one of my most treasured possessions.

  • A very classy man.

  • RIP Mr. Feller.

  • RIP Bob Feller

  • what a class act. I have never seen hm interviewed and what a generous man he seems..... in comment to losing 4 years of baseball during world war II he responds that the true heroes are those who did not return from the war .. and then he goes on to mention by name the only major league player to die during the war.... this was a decent man. RIP Bob Feller.

  • Cleveland's greatest pitcher interviewed by one of Cleveland's greatest all-time sportscasters. RIP Bob & Nev Chandler who was the voice of the Tribe for several years and voice of the Browns until his death in the early 90's.

  • I made a video announcing the death of this great Pitcher

  • RIP Bob Feller. No other pitcher compared to you. Greatness at its finest.

  • A class act and a great American. The greatest Indian of them all.

  • i met him and i got his autograph

  • Bob Feller might of been as good as any Pitcher who ever Pitched. He could throw 100 MPH with control before he went into World War II.

  • He is such a hero, such a wonderful man!

  • Bob Feller. My grandpa's cousin. I got a ball signed by him.

  • R.I.P. Nev Chandler

  • It was my great honor to meet Bob Feller, at a memorabilia show 2 years ago. He signed a baseball for me. I too, am a Navy veteran, and I was wearing a cap with the name of my ship on it. Bob saw it and started asking ME about MY experiences, and telling me some of his. I could have spoken to him for 2 hours and not talked about baseball at all. He thrilled me with his story of the battle of Leyte Gulf, in which he participated. It was a privilege, and a great pleasure to shake his hand.

  • Makes you wonder how big his numbers would have been if he didnt miss those seasons due to the war. He played from 1936-1941 and again from 1946-1956. Even with that 5-season gap, he posted a record of 266-162. He wouldve won 300 games for sure!

  • Don't go to the museum. The director Scott Havick is a greedy control freak who doesn't know how to manage...what a prick!!

  • bob feller enlisted the day after pearl harbor was attacked by the japanese. he was too modest in this interview to mention that. when someone asked him why he enlisted, he answered "this country needs heroes, and it needs them right now."

on this memorial day weekend, i salute you for your brave and selfless service to this country, mr. feller.

  • A far better ball player than these steroid freaks of today!!

  • Bob Feller the best pitcher in Tribe history.

  • Best pitcher in baseball history!

  • best touchdown call ever

  • Boy! Do I miss Nev.He was a class act.Hell,I grew up watching him cover the Browns and Cleveland Sports in general.Jim Donavan has tryed to pick up where Nev has left off,but let's be truthful...Jim has fumbled many times over the years and I just don't think he will ever be as good as Nev was.
