@treyofour Yep had to replace both hubs like 2 times, n abunch of the ifs parts of the lift im ready to straight axle it! Yep its got the 5.4. I believe it had superlift. but its in the junk yard now :(

@thebillionaire don't go with the SAC, i know IFS sucks but i did a solid axle conversion by myself on my 1990 K5 Blazer, had a 6" susp & 2" body, hated it.

1. It was a MAJOR PAIN IN THE ASS BY MYSELF

2. It decreases the travel distance of your tires,

@thebillionaire on IFS both tires travel at seperate distances **Great for goin through rivers & creeks & bad ruts/hill climbin, but the solid axle holds ya back from doing that, it's better for fields & straight mud pits where your tires don't have to travel at different heights to catch traction. Still got SOME movement with the SAC but you get more travel distance with IFS.

actually most ppl opt for straight axles when they get lifts bigger than 8 or so inches because its a hell of a lot cheaper to lift it if ya got leafs front and rear. all the ppl i know with mud trucks have straight axles.... then again theyre hard core into muddin and the smallest lift out of all my buddys is 10 inches lol
