fuck face, the trains are Iranian made. Nothing take from the West.
And by your logic, when ever you use the postal system or algebra you should pay respect to us Iranians because that's one of the many inventions of our ancestors.
btw, the 10000000000000 porn videos on the net featuring western women are disrespectful towards women. Focus on your own ass backward culture.
yes women can sit with men together in a same coach / however there is also one coach for only women as well , for those females who prefer to use the "women" side .
Oooh I see. Nice to see you again. A group of mousavists reported me because I was the admin of a group of Hezballah, and that is illegal in Facebook, so they suspended me, saying they refused to give me an explanation . . .
don't be stupid, there are some Westerners like me that are interested in knowing other countries, even if it's the subway, or a factory, or a hospital.
lol...calm down you'll have a heart attack. I just think it's not a big deal to show subways if they look so average. Not like Japan or France where they have the bullet train run on magnetic levitation, or Russia with Chrystal chandeliers hanging off the ceiling...those are interesting, this is as average as it gets.
Well, I'll give you my point of view: I am a writer, and if part of my story is developing in Iran, I certainly find it interesting and necessary to see the small details of a subway station in Teheran. When you actually pay attention, you realize there are really interesting differences. For example, did you realize how clean it is? In my country the subway is dirty, and you find a lot of women and children. Here, you see a lot of men, no children, and a a few women only.
that doesn't have much to do with the subway, that's more of a cultural thing....and if you go to Mexico and Peru, and I believe some other parts of latin America, you'll see buses that are segregated for women only b/c there is high volume of sexual harassment....so all that is wiki info to me :)
Look, let's just leave the conversation right here. I write as a profession, you don't, and I'm really thankful to find this kind of videos, because wikipedia is not a source to be trusted, and it's too superficial when you try to make a real research. It's cool for students and curious people in general, but not when you have to perfectly document the sounds, smells and that cultural flavor you only get when you actually visit a place. I cannot visit Iran, but I can watch this videos.
well...if you're such a professional I don't think youtube is the best place to get your research. Besides, you're not the only professional around here I'm a scientist and to be honest wikipedia is right almost all of the time...the errors that do appear on there are quickly removed by the editors. I've done plenty of online research for my scientific papers where we need to have dozens of cited sources...I'd get laughed at if I used youtube.
A fiction novel is not a scientific research paper, and youtube is not my only source, but ONE useful visual source....anyway, the point of this discussion is not the type of sources, but the fact that this video is interesting even if it doesn't show a bullet train or a time machine...
so if it's a fiction novel, how important is it to get something realistic for your information? lol...doesn't reality contradict what fiction is about?
"Fiction" is not synonym for "unreal", it's the name of a literary genre. Besides, even if you are writing about ficticious events, research is what makes your story plausible for the average reader. Even the worlds created in science fiction and fantasy should be made coherent and plausible.
So, if I want you to believe you are in a subway in Iran, it's not enough to mention what you find on every subway in this planet, but I must mention the details that make an iranian subway unique.
so what is so unique about this subway? It's as plain as a piece of paper.....and I guess maybe you should research all the subways around the world in order to see if the Iranian subway is really that unique...because then you'll have something to compare it to, but I don't think you've researched all the subways therefore your assumption of what is unique here is unproven to be true :)
Spetz, relax, you are being too scientific here. My novel is not a research paper, I don't need to see all other subways to observe this one. From an artistic point of view, each place in this planet and each person has unique traits, and its the expression of those traits that gives true life to your painting, novel, etc. I'm talking about details here: scents, sounds, the way the people dress and behave, etc. This is not objective science, but subjective percpetions.
I wanna see Iran, must be really nice and clean. Here in Germany everything is soooo dirty.....

Youtube is about posting videos. It does not have to be unique. People post videos of everyday things they do or have.
