  • good video but too fucking world, was pretty boring.

  • of course you can do both... video games are pretty cool.

  • Brilliant.

  • I love first world problems. But sometimes I get every luxury I want and nothing inconsequentially bad happens, so I have no meager problems to complain about :(

  • that feel when you have 10 extra steps to the toaster :.(

  • Poor kid :'(

  • Fuck Timothy!

  • This is excellent.

  • This ad was over-long so the humour diminished by the time it reached the punch-line. Anyway, if you're going to donate to children's charities, try a secular organization like Oxfam or UNICEF which won't hold aid at ransom in return for their chance to preach or prosletytize.

  • Cool!

  • @cioaca2

oh well it took to long to get to the end.. bugger off!

  • omg I was there for a second. I thought it was serious haha

  • @TheKoodude7 you didnt watch to the ends did you either that or you didnt get it AT ALL!

  • :D

  • People shouldn't comment on vids they don't watch entirely. Referring to comments below who missed the irony about the xbox...

  • Was getting a little worried and kind of irritated (thinking this was a Nike or xbox ad).

My son is doing a 30 hour famine this week for world vision.

I usually prefer smaller, local charities but we'll raise at least 250 for them through pledges :)

  • Awwwwwwwww

This document/ad is pretty "in your face" huh :)

  • So sad.. xbox360 and ps3 are to similar to PC, except worse graphics and horrible controlls.. with only kids playing.. when i was young all neighbour hood kids got into my room and we played golden eye on the n64..

  • ill shall give someone in africa an xbox

  • ohh the confused message -___-

  • Well im sorry to say but those kids in africa are beyond help. They live in war torn countries, many without parents or futures. Honestly, the most one of the children could hope to be is a AK toting soldier. This is the ugly truth weather we like it or not.

  • oh so he wont live with out a xbox BOOHOO

  • I thought that no kid should ever have to endure not having a xbox 360 and i was like *Who cares!, I don't have one and im ok with it.. even though i want one, don't NEED one.* it is great that it would help Africa.

  • i cried, one because the adorable kids have to go through that, and two the guy looks like my crush, who dosnt like me.

  • lmao

  • at first i was like wtf why should we feel sorry for this kid but then it turns out to be helping people in africa

  • @watermammoth Yeah, I was disappointed when it got to the end too. The beginning was funnier, though, all those starving african children were pretty funny too.

  • I love it!!! Should be played in schools! My kids are a little young to relate, and I dread when they are at that age

  • I laughed so hard

  • My kids come home and tell me about their friends Ipods and cell phones and lap tops and new clothes. They aren't complaining, their angry, especially when their friends complain about their cleaning ladys. They know that there are people in much worse shape than they are however they also know what it feels like to go hungry, and you better believe they are embarrassed about it. This just doesn't happen in Africa, it happens around the corner from where you live.

  • I get where the kids is coming from. My kids choose cereal or toast for dinner some nights because we coulden't buy groceries again. And the milk thing ya I know about that to. Wait till pay day is what I tell them. Then pay day comes. Then the utilities have to be paid and the rent that we are behind on. ect. ect. ect. Then the freakin insurance comes due and were scrambling to make that payment. And then were shaving the grocery bill again.

  • stop being mad at this boy

this is a commercial spot for a help campaign

    so hes probably an actor

but on kids who are really disappointed for having "not-the-best" like the xbox arcade, madness is a must have ;)

  • i wasted 3 minutes of my life

  • +1, nice.

  • good concept idea

  • why the hell does it matter whether he gets the 360 arcade vs. the elite. god that kid is lucky he got a 360 and should be thankful not disappointed

  • Haha that is awesome.

  • Fucking douchebag he should be happy to even have a house to live in not a freakin Xbox360 Eliete just be happy u even got a 360.

  • wtf sort it out 360 is shit

  • wtf, build up pc. ass clown. download halo for free :D upgrade to 64 bit, windows 7 good nivida and amd. (:

  • wtf..this was fucking stupid

  • Oh i thought it was a joke, but then at the end i really get what it means.

  • yawn

  • I swear if that was a comercial that was looooooooooooooooong...

  • wow at first i thought this was a joke....

now im wrong when i saw the end.

  • their comparing a kid tht got an arcade 360 to starving children in africa. wtf

  • the arcade has a hdmi output and its the same as an elite, just no hard drive, but u can buy one and thats it.

  • OMG NO WAYYY. This is a video about starving children in africa, and the fact that these people are upset they don't get what they want for christmas, and comparing the two. And all you get from it is," ohmgee, the arcade tottaly hase an HDMI output, you just have to get a HDD." Typical asswipe fanboy.

  • first of all i'm not a fuckin fanboy! obviously this videos a joke. i was just clarifying som facts. i luv all 3 consoles alike. just cause i write a fact that they got wrong or they missed doesn't make me a fanboy. you fuckin judgmental asshole.

  • see, i enjoyed this vid. this gets my attention, not some celebrity that could donate telling us to donate while holding a a starving kid.

  • is that kid ment to be a spoilt bastard or somthin? plz tell me

  • no, its about fuckin youth of today, well pretty much everybody, wanting useless shit we dont need...rather than important hings other people in 3rd world countries call a luxury...while we call it basic

  • ok, thanks

  • They're trying to say that people need to get real if they don't get their XBox Elite, since many people in Africa don't know if they'll get food.

  • That was a very good video, I'm still giving anything to the Africans but I will appreciate the things I have more.

  • Thought it was gonna be a child abuse charity at first tbh.

  • i do chores around my house and last christmas i got a wii. i sold it a couple days ago because i never played it anymore and decided to sell it to some one who would enjoy it. i bought an xbox 360 arcade and im really happy with it. i dont really care much for the hdmi (it would be nice) but i can live without it.

  • Comment removed

  • Oh my god. This video has made me appriciate so much more. Even tho I do use my energy and do all the chores around the house, im fucking spoiled. I need to stop. Ive realized that I have plenty and should even ask anything from my parents.

  • this brit guy sound like ricky gervais

  • Hey, i thought the sarcasm was hilarious!!!

  • what a pathetic sad little person you must be. man, I'd hate to be you!

  • Why, because i dont care about other ppl in general, or that i care about nature?

  • true

  • theres more important things in life than christmas, like poverty and the world around us, i think thats the bit your missing out when you decided to make this video

  • hell of alot more clever than the majority of posts here.

  • *applause*

  • Excellent!

  • Awesome! excellent point

  • lol

  • Well y'know what, if you all cared that much you'd sell your computers, stop spending monet in the internet/broadband and actually do something good with it.

  • I showed this to my three (very acquisitive!) little girls- 9,8 and 6- and I think they got the message- certainly that they don't really have any genuine needs by comparison with other children in other countries. It also made them laugh, something that my "starving children" speeches over the dinner table never do!It would have been nice to see more of what the "alternative gifts" do actually provide.

  • Think about the people that do NEED help not yourself...from Brendan aged 10

I like the point that we should give to people who NEED things not WANT things,,,from Glyn aged 11

It is too SOFT a message...from Dad aged forever.

  • Great video, never has there been a truer message at this gluttonous time of the year - I'll be spending differently this and every year.
