@homoeructis Looks like a 6 string Baritone which has a longer scale than a regular 6 string. Baritones are good for a low tuning when you dont want to or have the skill to play a 7 string. lol

@brycesizzle122591 They are great guitarists but as a great guitar player (Im not gonna BS with modesty), you see mis-inntonations, sloppy vibrato in parts and sounds like he is a few cents out of tune on the top side of the guitar too. Thats why when we tune this low, we use 7 strings to hold the tuning. :D Still great guitar players, just awful live.

When you are experiencing a concert in person, there are additional overtones the ear experiences and sloppy performance can be missed by the average listener. Go review a video of them playing here on you tube and listen very closely to the guitars. They are shit. I would include a link to some of their bad performances, but Im not into you tube arguments.

For you other gearheads.. Joe is playing a Caparison Dellinger 7 Pro Black with an EMG 707 in the bridge, to a ENGL Savage 100 watt through a Mesa Boogie cabinet. The other guitarist uses a Caparison Dellinger (regular six) Pro black with EMG 81/85 pickups (I don't know placement) through either the ENGL Savage or ENGL Invader, through Mesa Boogie. That's atleast what I know... I know he uses a EC-1000 VB in the video :D Your welcome ahead of time.

@PirateCentral As nardocchio said, it's about the guitars set up. I have 10's on mine and I just set it up for drop G#. They strings have good tension and don't sound like shit when played. You just have to adjust the bridge and reintonate to make it work.
