Also, the song takes another meaning when Whitney sings it and connects it to I Have Nothing. When Whitney sings it, it sounds like a proud declaration, "I am telling you, I'M NOT GOING!" When the Jennifers sing it, it sounds more sorrowful, and yes, a tad more desperate, which is perfectly fine since it is what's demanded for Effie's character. We have to remember that they sang the song as Effie, while Whitney sang the song as Whitney Houston. :)

Well, that's why YouTube has a search function. There is another lesser known video of Whitney singing this set at Radio City Music Hall during the very beginning of The Bodyguard Tour. She started the song off slow and reserved and the some progressively got more dramatic. That version she did is better hands down but this arrangement is basically just as good. Its simply your opinion. A standing ovation mid-song says that most other were very impressed.

Vocal cords have nothing to do with superficial appearance. So the best singers will be all over the 'attractive spectrum'. This is show business, people have to use whatever they can to get a 'leg up'. Not fair, but true. But layoff. Everyone is rejecting your opinion becuase you're so brash about it. It's true, that the best known singers are generally considered pretty. But when you maul people, you just look dumb.

First she'd better work on intonation. She's never on pitch.
Then -can not blame her for this- there is a "dimensional" problem: she can hit high notes, but they have no depth, no power.
