  • Why does the sound quality seem to change so much at 4:15? Was it taken from a different source?

  • I just love the song at 2:40

My favorite arrangement of Joker's theme.

  • I love that scene where Charlie tries to drive away from the Joker and that silly theme plays when he does so :p

  • Look Charlie, you've had a busy day! All this running around, all this excitement with...BATMAN!

  • Batman! You wouldn't let me fry would you?

  • Fair well Mark Hamill, you we're the greatest and you went out in style

  • @superspy6 Um...Say what? Mark Hamill isn't dead or anything. >.>

  • Best cartoon in Amerika.

  • MATASTE AL CAPITÁN PAYASO!!!

  • I just hammers it in how great this show was when both the top comments are about the same thing:

    YOU KILLED CAPTAIN CLOWN!!!

  • Joker had a great line in an episode I don't know the title:

"Now like my corny friend! We can't just yell at each other on the freeway. It's simply not polite."

  • @qwuezalothus That was Joker's Favor.

  • @qwuezalothus Joker's Favor is the name of the episode.

  • @Nogard06

I understand. I just wished the animated series had it's episode on youtube on as well.

  • I think it's worth mentioning that they ruined Joker's face in the New Animated Adventures. They also made Commissioner Gordon look as if he'd lost his dentures.

  • I remember The Last Laugh for it's music alone. It was so out of place for a Batman show, yet at the same time, it belonged. And it was glorious. Also, Captain Clown scared the fuck out of me as a child. No clue why

  • YOU KILLED CAPTAIN CLOWN!

  • YOUR GUNNA MELT LIKE A GRILLED CHEESE SANDWHICH!!!

  • This sounds like a boss theme

  • Damn, the first two minutes are awesome!

  • 4:14

That's the theme I always associate with him.

  • LOVE the theme from Joker's Favor. That whole episode was insanely funny.

  • Two-Face: "Get out of my face, clown!

    Joker: "Which one?"

  • 0:09 another anarchic morning in gotham city

  • I remember the episode when Joker tried to infect the city with the laughing gas.

  • @antropopellazgu Me too. I was just thinking of that episode while listening to this. I think they might have had similar melodies.

  • Batman made an account and disliked.

  • Creepy fucking clown at the beginning....

  • 3:58 :'D

  • This is stunning! With music like this, and a persona like he has, the Joker will never die. ^-^

  • One person killed captain clown

  • I love Joker's themes

  • The one dislike is from Jason Todd.

  • Gotta love the joker Favour one. haha i lol everytime "oh my god! i just cussed out the joker!"

  • EPIC Laugh when Joker goes after talking with Charlie Collins in the forest.

  • Without Shirley Walker the Batman Tas wouldn't be as good as it still is today.

  • Oh snap I remember this song, epic!

  • Do you have the music from the episode "Baby Doll"? I seem to remember liking that one a lot.

  • batman disliked

  • Dam, that first song is just fucking amazing. It's dark, menacing, powerful, and unpredictable. Thanks for putting this up.

  • Batman must not like this video!

  • you killed captain clown............ YOU KILLED CAPTAIN CLOWN

  • 2:40-3:01 even after all these years that theme still gives me the chills.

  • The music starting at 4:10 is really his theme....some of those other tracks were specific to those episodes

  • Do you have the music from the episode called "The Forgotten"... that was one of the best ones I can remember

  • @gArBgebIN I do not, sorry :(

  • @gArBgebIN lol....that's the one I want to know about too.....

  • My favorite moment with the Joker, is in ,"Mask of the Phantasm", where after a run-down theme park's robots start sining an annoying song, they are shot full of bullets until they all break. The Joker then enters, throws down his gun and says cooly, "I hate that song." Says every thing you need to know about the Joker in that one scene. The Perfect Joker to me, is the one that you laugh with, even though you know, you really shouldn't.

  • You never that theme in the Last laugh ever again after this episode....the Joker never has those henchmen again....and he never wears a glass bubble to protect himself, heh

  • "What you don't get is that there's more than one way to actually 'get' someone." That was one of his coolest lines I think. The joker is awesome; He's a gangster, but is unlike any other gangster he's not neccesarily motivated by money or even sense. It's all a joke to him.

  • "YOU KILLED CAPTAIN CLOWN!"

  • You need to make a scarecrow one.

  • 0:03

That will haunt me in my dreams for life.

  • You know that laughing gas really does make you laugh, it's just that the people that use it for anesthetic dilute it to an appropriate point. But although it does cause laughing, it is actual an immediate side effect of brain damage being caused by the fumes. Laughing gas is no laughing matter!

Unless of course you have a complete disregard of human life like the Joker.

  • a guy missed the like button

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!!

    /M Arkham ill

  • 2:41 one of my favorite themes! haha

  • You can't pull off a good caper without having a kickass soundtrack to go with it! LOL HAHAHAHAHA!!! GIVE IT THE OL HEEVE HOO CAPTIAN! Oh no...looks like Batmans air holes are water holes too...whata shame....hehehehehahahahaa!!!

  • I love the pic @ 2:28 , it's so epic in my opinion

  • try listening this while playing Batman: Arkham Asylum! it is really fun!

  • 3:59 Don't let me get whiter than Michael Jackson! (Not a quote from the show)

  • safe to say that at 3:32 most people (myself included) would've started crying like little girls if you were in Chuker's shoes haha

  • I love how he called him Chukers instead of Charlie...lol

  • 3:20 probably one the biggest 'Oh Crap' moment ever

  • Man, I'm shocked some hip hop producer hasn't sampled that first tune.

  • You killed Captain Clown...

    YOU KILLED CAPTAIN CLOWN!

  • what was the episode where is showed joker falling into the chemical bath?

  • @BlackvilleGrave33 Season 4 episode ''The Creeper''.

  • @Sener yeah, i have that episode from "batman: the new batman adventures" but on wikipedia: joker, it says that an episode shows the joker (before he was joker) with a gang of people were foiled by the batman and he fell into the chemical bath

...or is that in "the creeper"? i know the two shows are related but i would appreciate if you confirm

    thanks for your help!

  • @BlackvilleGrave33 That's it. It's accepted that both shows are in the same continuity despite the difference in style and some character recasts.

  • @BlackvilleGrave33 I believe the actual episode was Season 4 episode "Mad Love" the one in "The Creeper" is a dramatization, the "Mad Love" one is what really happened.

  • Please, please.... can you perhaps upload the themes for "Riddler's Reform", "If You'Re So Smart Why Aren't You Rich?", "The Man Who Killed Batman", "The Clock King"," "Heart Of Ice".....? I've been looking to buy the BTAS soundtrack -everywhere-, but I can't find it at all!!

  • Very cool video. The Joker is the KING of Batman villains.

  • @MrMayDX08 no, that would be two-face

  • 2:43

I once kept whistling that for the better part of a day. It'd be funny, if it weren't so pathetic...oh what the heck, I'll laugh anyway....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

  • You killed Captain Clown. YOU KILLED CAPTAIN CLOWN!

  • thanks for the song! I can use this for my joker theme, if wondering? check out my channel!

  • The little high pitched part at 2:43 what is that called?

  • @AgentxOfxChaos That part is the Joker's Theme that was used throughout the series! Genius theme!

  • Joker toxin: causes uncontrollable laughter, fatal grinning and a whole lot of plaque.

  • @lastunusedname not to mention death :D

  • 4:54

    "WTF? D:"

  • Aha thanks so much for your comments! Would you like to take a look at some of the other Knightsongs? There's some cool pics on them too

  • @SackFreak

That's from the episode, "Be A Clown", it's from the first season. Episode 9.

  • 4:49

    "It's mine, it's finally mine!"

  • 4:31

    "Smile, Bat granny!"

  • 4:20

"But look, it has eyes? :("

  • 4:16

"Not to brag, but I really am a clown. Hehehe."

  • 3:55

"Well well well, look what we have here?"

  • 3:47

He's like "Hello babes, I'm evil, rawrr!"

  • 3:28

It looks like he's saying like "No no, you don't want to go that way!"

  • Joker - He really knows how to put the fun in funeral!

  • Animated Joker and Batman were the best Joker and Batman, on their own as well as together. The only thing I didn't like about the series was the fact that there weren't many Joker v. Batman episodes since this wasn't that big of a series :*(

  • The best episode was when he tried to copywrite fish

  • @Leekduck Great Episode though my favorite Joker episode was the Man Who Killed Batman.

  • Best Joker of all time!

  • "Well, that was fun. Who's up for Chinese?"

  • @bibleandbandana AAAAAAAAAHA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!

  • One bat in the hand is like two in the bellfree -Joker

  • Well folks that's all but I'll have the last laught one day Batman! - Joker

  • haha the jokers favor theme is hilerious i was humming that at work the other day

  • loveeeed this when kid still doo... best batman ever.....

  • Shiley Walker composed the best Joker's theme.

    She was a great composer.

  • "You killed Captain Clown......You KILLED Captainn Clown!!!!!"

  • whats the song called at 4:15 please.

  • @tedd00900

Actually, that's the Joker's theme in the series.

The ones before are excerpts from episodes he appeared in, eg. The Last Laugh, Joker's Favour.

It's pretty much a short jingle, but it tends to play whenever he appears, even if it's a cameo in another episode.

  • That's the Joker's Theme.

  • 2:41 is the theme I will always remember Joker for, even long after the Dark Knight has stripped him of all his dark humor.

  • 5:03 "Meanwhile, back at the WRENCH!"

  • "If my side-splitters don't tickle you, how's about a HEAD SPLITTER?"

  • where did you get the music? limewire?

  • Bought the soundtracks

  • One of the few things I've come across that I can truly label 'transcendent.' The animation was also superb, in no small part thanks to the strong influence of fluid anime techniques.

The Clayface episodes have more gracefully animated body horror than 'Akira.' Terrifying stuff...

  • this show was a treasure.

  • 2:41 is by far my favorite Joker music.

  • I love this Compilation here !!! All the music of the Joker was Awesome but at 4:14 describes the Joker the best in this Music Compilation going from his Playful Mood to his Sinister Mood I love it.. And thanks to Mark Hamill's Awesome voice work!!!

THANKS FOR THIS AWESOME TRIBUTE!! and

R.I.P. SHIRLEY WALKER!!! We Will never forget you

  • maaan this would make a sick ass Drum Corps show opener! nice dark deep brass a-la Phantom Regiment or Bluecoats =) i got all the Batman T.A..S episodes and i am watching them at work. its sooo cool! only thing i noticed that i did not like. is the final season they changed everyone up. when the young robin comes into the picture and nightwing or hawk w/e comes into play. they changed alot of the charecters which i did not like making ivy and catwoman super pale! not cool! love this track tho

  • the joker was one of my favorite villains in batman....in my opinion the best, mostly thanks to mark hamill <3

  • Wow this show had great music! Then again, it had great everthing!

  • its basicly flawless. the bad things, few as they are, are not even worth mentioning.

this is what a Batman animated show should be.

  • @henkman00 yep and somehow Bruce Timm kept being basically flawless throughout the entire 14 year run of the DCAU from BTAS to JLU.

  • and there was no need to drop the DCAU at all it could have continued today, even if they made a new Batman show. they could even have added seasons of that show (TAS) with a few years in between. and update parts here and there.

the DCAU is as close as we ever got to an animated series version of the hole DCA. and like they updated the Superman comics in 1987 they could have done that to with the DCAU. no need to throw it away completely because basicly these characters never change.

  • @henkman00 I know what you mean I still fantisize about a hypotetical Justice League beyond series man (which Bruce Timm was considering as an option for a hypotetical JLU season 6 before it was canceled)

  • really? that would have been great. i did hear about possible Wonder Woman, Legion of Super hero's and Green Lantern shows when the DCAU was still running. plus a show about Batman's early years. this became Batman Beyond and im sure The Batman. (sorry i dont like the Batman that much)

i think Kevin Conroy could have pulled off a young Batman voice and an TAS origin story could also have the Joker's origin. it could have made a nice full circle with TAS and Beyond...oh well...

  • @henkman00 two legion shows pitched to CN (which actually picked up neither) one of them was set in the DCAU and would have picked up where that episode where the legion gueststared left off this was rejected first and no real work went into it (the new executive did not like the bruce timm art style one of the main reasons JLU was canceled too) the other one which was eventually shown on kids WB seemed like it had been picked up so they worked on it and showed in on WB when CN said no

  • @henkman00 Bruce Timm regreted not doing a Wonder Woman show before doing Justice League cause a lot of her origin and character had to be changed to fit the format of Justice League.

  • lol i absolutely had the monkey bob Marley haired joker. but turning Batfake's fiend into clayface was cold....

  • I didn't love his look, the hair was entertaining tho. But his lines and just overall characterization and actions were closer to the comics. The clayface thing was nearly identical to what he was trying to do to Gordon in the killing Joke. The relationship between Joker and Bat's was much better too. in TAS they were just good guy bad guy and nothing else, in The Batman the two sides of the same coin thing was highly examined and even brought right out in more than one episode.

  • im not sure about that. (i watched 30 episodes of The Batman until i had enough) in the killing joke he wants to show Gordon that anyone can go mad after a bad day. but its been to long since i saw the episode you speak of to remember if they did that story i dont remember thinking that.

i do agree that TAS could have taken it a step further (and they did in the Beyond movie-and he did cause horror looks on victims with his laughing gas) but i dont agree that 'monkey' Joker did.

  • In the episode he seriously sayd all it takes is one bad day ect ect. Monkey Joker did leave victims with the horror grins, but The Batman just had bat's cure some of them. I just don't think Dini really ever understood the relationship that well. Joker always wanted to kill bats in TAS, in the modern comics and in The Batman, it's much more demented and just evil. Wanting to prove him wrong and such. They had Ledger sum that up in the integration scene

  • Paul Dini? funny he writes the Batman comics and is one of my fav writers. also Dini and Timm may have got some restrictions on the Joker from DC or WB or from the channel that aired TAS back then. and they did a fine job, i do feel Joker became more menacing as time (and shows) went by

well you cant really compare modern comics with 90s TAS. save perhaps that TAS used the basic ideas. TAS Joker fits in nicely with every version of the character. 'monkey' Joker falls out of the box.

  • idt so, Dini had Joker do some cool things, but I don't think he ever saw beyond the good guy bad guy relationship. The WB was the channel that both the shows ran on and he was certainly more toned down in both, but the motivation was more true in the batman.

  • @Sydpart2 Im sure Bruce Timm appreciates you giving Dini all the credit.

  • lol, my bad. nice name btw

  • hate not had

  • @henkman00 Kevin did do a young Bruce. I was so amazed. I didn't even think it was him. Did u catch keV in that Gotham ani.vid?

  • @skyhime

im sure Kevin Conroy could do a younger Bruce (he kinda did on 'Mask of the Phantasm') he is that good a voice actor.

no im not sure what you mean, what vid?

  • about that the characters never change. i watched the Batman and Superman movie and played Arkham Asylum last year and even when they aren't canon to the DCAU they could have been seeing the DCAU the movie and game use the comics as source material. i hope i made my point about this clear. do these characters right and you already have the DCAU in some form because that was what Bruce Timm was doing. The Batman was just a version of Batman not -ironically- about THE Batman

  • well they technically did an episode in Batman Beyond...

  • thx man! My favorite joker's theme was, will always be the one in "joker's favor"!

  • God this brings back memories

  • Batman TAS had such good music thanks for uploading

  • Joker's BTAS Theme is jammin'

  • I like how they didn't play his theme doesn't play in any of the title cards, it just plays at certain parts of certain episodes, with different instruments every time; It's so quick sometimes: It's the song that plays at 2:41, 3:55, and that ends the video starting at 4:13.

Sorry if you already knew that.

  • That's actually well pointed out, even while I was collecting the music and screen caps to make this video I didn't notice that they never used his theme in any of the title cards. Shirley had a great time writing music for joker, there are so many different themes...the joker fish theme, the last laugh theme, joker's favor, joker's wild... all different musical themes.

  • thanks for your hard work on the vids and up load. do you have clay face?

  • "You killed Captain Clown!"

  • Romero, Nicholson, Ledger I like them all but if I had to pick one it would deffintly be Hamill!

  • man i cant stop hearing mark hamill's amazing laughs while i listen to this

  • Comment removed

  • And btw the music from Batman TAS is truly amazing. If you could upload more it would be awesome :]

  • yeah, where did you get this song from?

  • I'm sorry if I already answered but I don't think I did. Anyway these tracks come from the official soundtrack released a little while ago. It quickly sold out, and it only has the score for a few episodes.

  • does anyone know where i can download the soundtrack to this show?

  • Is this series out on DVD does anyone know?

  • Yes it is, region 1 DVD is available. The whole show (all seasons) is on DVD in the United States.

  • this song is too good as well. this used to be one of my favorite episodes just because this song played the entire time.

  • This one is great.

  • The Joker had a bunch of awesome themes. The music from The Last Laugh is intense and perfect for good old fashioned Batman vs Joker action.

  • Thanks for posting this. I always loved the joker's little flute theme. I've been whistling it all day since I watched this. Guess it never hurts to carry a piece of your childhood around with you.

  • It's my pleasure! I've been in love with the Batman cartoon music since Iwatched it as a child, I'm glad I can share it with the world.
