I take back my previous statement. Having the Masters on Disk 2 is not epic if you use cheats to get them. Meru doesn't get her Dragoon Spirit until the end of that disk.

it does not take too long to get all the additions filled up if you go to a spot with a monster that can fear you it makes mastering additions easier since the fear half the damage you do

@294146001 Not that hard. Just takes such a long time. Just spend a lot of time doing the additions. it reallys pays off and you annihilate all the bosses after. Especially Meru's final addition at lvl. 5. It does crazy damage + her speed. Makes her the best physical attacker. Despite what others think

i always got flower storm with lavitz in the forest where you fight feyrbrand and it just got mind numbing camping there doing battle after battle... the only master addition i've never gotten is kongol's because i've never wanted him in my party; his dragoon attacks are horrendous and his magic defense is even shittier than albert's if i remember correctly

the game deserves a remaake or at least a prequel about the dragon campaign (a sequel wouldnt make sense and wouldnt be as fun since most of the characters got a happy ending)

@MurkCityBeast A few months ago legend of dragoon info was leaked in a podcast interview from someone at sony. He wasn't supposed to let it slip but he did. 2012-2013 is supposed to see the release of five or so PS3 exclusive RPGs with Legend of dragoon 2 being in the lineup.

Good now that we got that out of the way, the reason why he went back is because he chose a control for the damage. The enemy he chose has extremely low defense so the damage would seem high. He went back because there are a couple occasions during the game where going back may be beneficial (like sneaking through the secret door near the green health flies). Glad to clear things up.

I only master 2 optional characters per save file (sans shana and miranda, they're no fun to fight with 8P). It's way easier to afford the legendary equips and to perfect the additions that way.

like it's hard to move the cursor, but if you move it to the head, they take critical damage, body normal, feet arms a bit less, or a miss.

I loved the addition battle system in this game. The only thing i didn't like about the battle system was that the only real practical way to heal was with items.

The only good healer was Shana and even then her lack of additions made her attacks laughably pathetic unless in dragoon form or using magic items.
