  • Can you use relighting when rendering an animation sequence, or is it just for single renders? thanks

  • This isn't a real relight... it's like the maxwell multilight.

You can't move or add lights, but just change color and intensity.

  • Awesome this is post render?

  • wow, this is amazing. Kinda like the IPR in Maya. Doubt it will work this quick though. Will it work on atmospheres too?

  • @ribenawrath I'm pretty sure it will. Would give a quite good effect on godrays. :3

  • wow

  • so let see when Vue 9 out

  • everyone here forgot about that we are talking about vue here...just imagine if you use relighting in vue's atmosphere...i saw some vids already...creating different mood by just changing the sun...this crashes terragen

  • This is lights turning after render? Same as maxwell and fryrender?

    Can't wait ohoh

  • @giangdinhtruong yes same as maxwell, thea, and fryrender

  • @giangdinhtruong Maxwell is an unbiased engine, things work a little differently there. It's probably more like Cinema multipass system.

  • My question is: will we have to buy Xtream to enjoy this feature, or will it be available for vue complete (the version I have been able to afford)?

  • Fantastic!

  • omg, when i think back to all these renderfails cause of little lightning correction must taken. awesome

  • I cannot wait to purchase Vue 9 xStream!

  • Holy crap! Can't wait for this.

  • maxwell render 2 did this a long while back and better

  • Is this going to be in vue complete or is just in the top 2 tier packages.

  • Can't wait! :)

  • amazing! Great job!

  • HDR

  • i don't see the big dilly, can't u do this in your compositing program?

  • @mothanahussein83 it is actually useful when you apply relighting with vue's sun and atmosphere system...this video just shows one aspect of vue's relighting

  • just, YES!

  • I kind of have to pick my jaw up off the floor. How is post-render relighting even possible?

  • @VelocityTino Well, it isn't really relighting (where lights are moved, rotated, sized, etc), but just mixing of render buffers. Nice implementation, and very helpful, but not quite what I'd call relighting. Just high dynamic range compositing adjustments. :) You can do the same in Photoshop if you render out each light and comp using colour overlays and additive transfer modes.

  • come on either very good

  • Does that make the render engine unbiased?

  • jesus christ! this is like photorealistic!

  • Very, Very Nice! Looks like Upgrade time is near!!!

  • Totally nuts. Cant wait!!

  • wow !!!

  • Awesome. Never saw anything like it.

  • Jizz in my pants

  • @Jirinoshi lol

  • no way...
