Howard Dean made the comment that the US should be a fair and honest broker in the Middle east. He was immediately attacked as an anti semite, force to apologize to Jewish organizations, was marginalized and soon had his scream moment. Jewish organizations made an example of him and displayed there power for daring to stray from the we stand with Israel pledge all US pols must take
How can you be fair and honest to one side and not another and consider yourself fair and honest at all? Isn't something wrong in this nation when a call to be fair and honest labels you as an anti semite?
i consider it fair and honest to sell weapons to Israel and not to Iran, i consider it fair and honest to give foriegn aid to countries that support us. and NOT to those that oppose us. to say we should treat countries like Iran or UAE or Syria just like Israel is absurd.
Israel supports us? I think you have that backwards -- Israel has it's hand in the US taxpayer's pocket to the tune of billions of dollars every year, year after year, decade after decade.
And by the way, the USA is not really selling Israel weapons. Since Israel is using US taxpayer dollars to get those weapons, we really are just giving them away for nothing
If anyone could manage to lose this election for the DNC, it's Howard Dean. Personally, I kind of prefer the earlier Capitol Steps parody of him from '04 - to the tune of "Makes me Wanna Shout"
