this was an old song from the once album that was the last album Tarja sung... therefore it is for Tarja and it is amazing... but when you think about how difficult the vocals are... Anette did really well

Without being melodramatic. My heart tore in two when I saw this video in the sidebar. I couldn't believe it! I hoped it was fake, I hope I'd awaken from this nightmare where Tumoas would actually let Anette sing this untouchable Nightwish classic. But instead, like the jews, led it into the doomed gas chambers of Anette's lungs. I died alittle with every note, every chord relentlessly butchered with Anette's sub par karaoke vocals. Neither of them have to be the bitch, it's just I'm absolutely sick of people criticising Anette simply because they're raised Tarja onto a ridiculous pedestal. Tarja was fired for a reason and anyone who doesn't like it can just listen to old albums, rather than being hurtful to Anette when she's doing the best she can. Hate to tell you but a vocalist doesn't dictate what the MUSIC genre is. The MUSIC does. And the music in NW is, and has always been symphonic metal. A different singing style doesn't change that.
