  • 1045 is the cheapest type of carbon blade used for katanas but pretty strong considering they have only 0.45% carbon content. Have u tested how much it can bend?

  • chuck norris can do that with a butter knife

  • Can anyone tell me where to buy a katana that is cheap and good ?

  • @DakiMushi some malls have oriental stores in them you can get some there they wouldnt be good though

  • These are pressed from a machine arent they? and the Hamon is fake also?

  • the 10xx series of carbon steels is magical.

  • lol i just finished sharpening my blade 4 an hour an a half i cut a 12 inch tree with it p.s. i use it 4 harvesting my dragon fruit.

  • I would chop my leg off :S

  • I am sure you would my friend :D

  • hahahahaa

  • Lol, what? It's true! lol

  • i know, it just made me laugh!

  • Heh, yeah, I am sure you can manage to slice your knee cap off, however.

  • heya do u have a katana if so any avice on cuts?

  • though im not sure that could chop your leg off anyway!

  • katana can cut clean through bone if u have the right blade

  • @icppl1 i've heard of 4 body blades - blades that can cut through 4 people with one slash.

  • that thing is sweeeeet.

  • please indicate size of blade and tsuka and weight for all your katana at your website, thank you

  • OH DEAR!

  • I just brought a dragon blade from you guys and the butt cap seems very loose. Can this be exchanged?

  • The reason it's loose is because the kashira is a standard aftermarket piece, comes in one size. Our handle is custom shaped, but we use readily avail aftermarket fittings to keep costs down. The kashira won't, however, ever come off, as it's held together with the wrap. If you'd like, you can dab epoxy underneath the wrap and underneath the cap, to keep it from moving.

  • @sukottoinc I have to say that's a serious design flaw. That cap keeps the wood from splitting, if its loose its not going to do what its designed for. I wouldn't even cut with it personally.

  • THX ^_^

  • Nice Vid. I myself own a Katana but only for display but it is battle ready. I have 2. Questions how do you clean your Sword and keep it from getting rusty and 2. How do you sharpen it (if needed)

  • The best way is to use a cleaning kit after each time you bring it out to cut. During a cuttin session, you should wipe it down after cutting. I use a silicone spray. After a cutting session is done, I clean with the cleaning kit. (You can pick one up at sukottoinc.com)

  • When sharpening, I recommend any ceramic cross bar sharpener. The 2 bars will form an X shape on the stand, and just run the blade through it 2 or 3 times. It'll help preserve the clam shape, won't put a bevel, and sharpens both sides at once.

  • @Machinist1540 Get some paper towel, remington action cleaner, and a can of WD-40, and your blade will be spotless, and without rust. Don't pay the money for those expensive traditional Japanese cleaning kits. The best sharpening device for a zero grind convex edge is an electric slack belt grinder, with 300-3,000 grit belts, and a couple of leather belts with honing compound. Quick, easy, and effective; face shaving sharpness with minimal skill or experience necessary.

  • on through hardened swords, they are cosmetic hamon.

  • is the hamon fake or what?

  • its an advert for the swords.

  • This proves nothing.

  • Then what do your videos prove if I may ask? Your blades cut nice, but so does this one.
