  • where did this recording come from?

  • @piddywax Tibetan Master Chants - Lama Tashi

  • In fact the mantra shown in Tibetan script here is 'om wa gi shwa ri mum' which is another mantra also related to Manjusri.

  • can anyone post a video of the long form of the Manjusri mantra, chanted in Tibetan, and not by Dorje shugden? I would love to hear it again.

  • May all beings find great wisdom like that of Manjushri, may they attain the wisdom realizing emptiness and cut the root of samsara

  • JAYA GANAESHA

    JAYA NAGANE

    JAYA NAGA NESKA

  • May all sentient being have happiness and the causes of happiness. May all sentient beings be free from suffering and the causes of suffering .

May all sentient beings have joy and the causes of joy. May all sentient beings remain in great equanimity, free from attachment and aversion!

  • I apologize because I sent a comment about the mantra: Manjushri and posted it here ... my mistake.

    It is my apology!

  • @Ladyli63 No worries :)

  • Curious because I know this mantra a long time ... and know the following: - OM RA PA TSA NA DHI.

Each of these syllables refer to each and every part of that whole.

In the case of a person, plus many things, the syllable TSA in the human body refers to the liver.

It's just that I do have the oracle of Manjushri which is called-MO!

  • @poweruman I sure hope so, the mode of enunciation is designed to shake you to the core of your being.

  • Arapacana is simply Sanskrit for "one who ripens". That is, enlightens deluded beings.

  • This is the very first mantra that was offered to me.

  • @harrynephew BULLSHIT! shugden AIN'T NO WISDOM BUDDHA. HE JUST A DEMON. MANJUSRI IS THE WISDOM BUDDHA, NOT DOGHYAL. QUIT PRETENDING TO BE BUDDHIST, U MAKE US ALL LOOK BAD.

  • @harrynephew

Yes, and don't forget that this also depends on what lineage you follow as well.

  • Dear Allinthemind,

Buddhas manifest to help protect sentient beings regardless of their labels. Buddhas do not limit themselves and their love and compassion for us.

  • @harrynephew

    Yes, very true.

So find the way that works for you the best :) There are many.

  • dedicate the merit after reciting. very good stuff.

  • i really cant understand the meaning or language of this mantra , but as it is sacred , even some times hearing words of sacred mantras helps....

  • Thank you for this beautiful gift. Blessings

  • I'm so happy that you post this video with Manjushri Mantra!!!!! This is the Mantra that is helping me to get more force to obtain wisdom and blessing orientations for my everyday life at the moment. That was a real present to find it hier. Thank you!

  • Your very welcome, one of my favorite mantra's also :)

  • Manjushri is a Bodhisattva btw :)

  • He manifests as a Bodhisattva and a Buddha. Sometimes when you see him as a Bodhisattva, he has a smaller sword. Different traditions may emphasis this more than others though perhaps.

  • Thanks Steve!

  • By the way, this chant does have conceptual meaning.

The meaning is inherant in tonality, meter, and layering. Note that sequentially more chanters are added after 4:00 and completely removed by

    - say- 5:40.

It would be interesting to note the interval at which chanters are added and subtracted, as well as the number of chanters added and then removed.

  • In response to what is said after the mantra near the end.

    I do not know!

I'm guessing that it's a dedication? It may also be the conclusion of a certain Sutra?

    If anybody knows, please share.

  • GRACIAS POR ESTE BELLO Y PODEROSO MANTRA.

Buda y sus mnatras son inspiracion de paz y amor para el mundo.

!Que la paz y el amor, sean en nuestras mentes!

Thanks you for this beuatuful and powerful mantra.

Buddha and her mantras are inspired peace and love on the world.

  • Your welcome from Canada. I'm very fortunate to live in a free country and practice Buddha Dharma.

  • Dear everyone, I am mindful. I asked because I am hard of hearing therefore I am not as fortunate as you to hear well. I do appologise if I have caused any harm to you or anything,

  • Nicely made video, thank you (:

  • Thank you, great video..peace to ya..keep up the great postings.

  • Thanks everyone for continuing to view my Buddha inspired videos.

    Peace and love,

    Steve

  • This is the phonetic spelling (how to pernounce the mantra) according to how I was taught.

Buddhism is world wide, so in different countries they might say it differently because of their languages.

Oam Ah Rah Pah Tsa Nah Dee

  • One should note the vibration and tempo is a constant, which is key, rather than the emphasis on 'how' to pronounce. The only 'right' way of being...being aware.

  • allinthemind...from 06:35 what is being said?

  • Cozz you ask how to pronounce the mantra ...you're listening to it. WtH..lol

  • This is a true gift, eternal thanks allinthemind. may all beings be happy

  • Coz you just listened to the video and you're asking how to pronounce it.. You need to be mindfull of what's going on around you.

  • Thanks for the great chanting on Manjushri Mantra video..

  • Your welcome!

  • Hello, could you please tell me how I should pronounce Om Ah Ra Pa Tsa Na Dhi. I say "Om Ah Ra Pa Cha Na Deee". How is the Dhi spoken?

  • it sounds like "Dee" like the letter D. Hope this helps

  • It's also great to do the mantra while breathing out repeating the DHI syllable many times and visualize the Manjushri sword of fire cutting away ignorance.

    Peace

    Gio

  • Good tip!

  • 1.)OM MANI PAD ME HUM

    2.)Heart Sutra

    3.)MANJUSHRI mantra
