  • Eight minutes of sheer enjoyment.

  • Steve Winwood just gets better and better, and that's even more incredible considering how he was already amazing to begin with!

16 stupid people don't believe in Mr. Fantasy.

  • @3503michaelp....there are no guys like Steve Winwood.

  • Dam, Winwoods voice is awesome..They said back in the day when he first came out his voice was compared to Ray Charles.. Talent wise he's the ONLY guy who can take the stage with a giant like Clapton and own it.

  • Tons of talent in this guy. Guys like Winwood are fading fast and very, very few are replacing them.

  • Love this song ! Steve Winwood ... no bells and whistles, make up or wardrobe person, just ultimate talent! I love his music!

  • Winwood and the drummers tore it up.

  • @Msdistarr you sure got that right.

  • Although this being a masterpiece the best part is to see the crazy crowd honoring this underrated genius who just deserves it so much!

  • the drummers are killin it, Steve Jordan & Ian Thomas

  • 15 people are cranky Porcupines...

  • Steve Winwood is a musical genius & so underrated..

  • Old keyboard player can really rip up that guitar. Sings pretty good too. The only thing that was strange was that the crowd didn't yell loud enough at the end. The roof should have come off the building. Go Winwood! Live forever!

  • Winwood isn't known as a great guitarist. But he certainly is.

  • Throwin' in a little of Deep Purple's 'Child In Time' at the end was cool.

  • Wow! I love how the ending sounded almost like a cover of Beck's Bolero. Steve is da man!

  • Steve's voice is so damn perfect and yet so underrated. Perfect tune!

  • How do you dislike this???? Maybe Deaf n Blind?

  • Imagine that, he was 58 years old when he played that Crossroads gig. Still on top of his game. Rock On

  • the 15 dislikes must be Bieber fans and don't have a clue what real music sounds like..

  • Man, he can really rip it up!

  • that had to be the best performance of his life....my gawd !!!

  • @IrishDaddi Indeed. DAMN how that rocked in the end

  • This kind of music is the only thing that will close my eyes to a beautiful gal and open my ears to something that's just as beautiful.

and I know boobies are hard to close your eyes to, lol

  • What a great performance of a great Traffic song. Umm, is Steve getting better as he's getting older?

  • Hey don't fret I'm 58 and that's all I listen to too!

  • When we went to concerts 40 years ago and more, this is the kind of magic we hoped to see. There's nothing more to say; this was lightning in a bottle with a musical genius. I envy all those who were lucky enough to see this live, and thanks to whomever posted this for the rest of us.

  • When we went to concerts 40 years ago and more, this is the kind of magic we hoped to see. There's nothing more to say; this was lightning in a bottle with a musical genius.

  • Steve Winwood has earned his place amongst the gods!

  • This guy is one of the GREATEST OF ALL TIME in my book!!!!!!!!!If not THE!!!!!

  • chords A G D A

  • @bossou5555 "A G D A" ...Tried them... but I got Sympathy for the Devil

  • @longjonwhite He only picks at the D and the G and mixes a Dsus4 in - the A is an really A6 and with Em. Or at least thats how I get it to sound right - I just cannot sing as good as this guy - nor get the fluency of the solo - Outfking standing marines!

  • Rolling Stones just updated their top 100 guitarists of all time. Does Winwood deserved some consideration? After this, I can't believe he wasn't.

  • This is my all time favorite concert performance! Just a fantasicly performed rendition of this song. Every artist brings their "A" game! This is what seperates us from the animals. Incredible guitar playing: a perfect blend between artistic impression and technical skill! Thank you Stevie for this gift to the world!

  • Im 16 and im influencing my entire school with steve winwood and the beatles and the stones etc. Im gonna keep the real music alive

  • more than 1000 to 1 likes to dislikes - that's great odds for you 14 oddies!

  • Steve "WIN"wood.

  • magic.

  • what a performance!

  • Bands don't do solo guitars like this anymore....

  • I'm 18 months old, and I like to drink whiskey smoke cigarettes and listen to old music! Who's Beiber? Blah, blah, blah! :)

  • To borrow a line from Wayne and Garth, "I'm not worthy"....

  • this is fantastic!

  • ..."all these years"...understatement of the era. More tears...make its nappy while you're at it. Tough as leather.Set me freeee.

  • Damn that was Smoking HOT! enuff said........

  • if you´re an incredible singer, keyboard player, guitar player, musician and lyric composer.... i guess u ncan´t complain with god for the rest of your life

  • Thanks for posting this . I enjoyed it immensly.lost in misty eyed nostalgia until i saw the pop up youtube add for "Amazing joint relief ". LOL . seriously tho Steve's

voice sounds better than it did when he was a kid . AMAZING.

  • I was gonna use the f word, but nah.....these guys were THE greatest, forget my top 3 of all time.

  • Steve Winwood live....standing ovation. It doesn't get any better if you like good guitar playing with an outstanding band.

  • Classic voice

  • The music of my era..timeless.

  • by coincidence my strat is identical to steve´s strat.... daphne blue, maple fretboard. how cool is that?

  • i mean... how many guitar solos u remember that end with all the people of the stadium standing up to make an ovation?

  • @hungerstriker27 at a guitar festival - probably quite a few.

  • obviously steve can´t play guitar as eric.... but this version is the proof that you don´t need to be a virtuoso to make a great solo, cause, really, this 2 solos are probably one of the most inredible solos I´,e ever heard in my life, by any artist in any era....

  • I realized that I always thought of Steve as a keyboardist (I don't know why). He is clearly an amazing guitarist. How can one live so long and not realize the obvious?

  • I'm 22 and I only listen to stuff like Eric Clapton, Derek & the Dominoes, Cream, Blind Faith, Allman Brothers Band, Gov't Mule, Humble Pie, ZZ Top, Rolling Stones, Joe Walsh, The Band, etc. Don't worry. Good music will live on!

  • @TheRealRayJ when I was 4 my favourit band was Led Zeppelin , soo go fuck your self :DD just kidding :P best music is old music !

  • @TheRealRayJ same here brother. 21 and still listening to the songs of old times. always remember the origins of great music

  • @TheRealRayJ Me too!

  • @TheRealRayJ

God, that is sooo refreshing!! THANK YOU!!!

  • ahhhhhh..........excellent!

  • I love this song and I'm sixteen

  • This brings back very fond memories of my teenage years in the late 60's and '70's. This music is awesome. We called it "groovin'" back in the day (listening to this music). TIMELESS. Steve Winwood and Eric Clapton are true artists. They feel the music like no one else.

  • Remember all you kids out there that Winwood is first and foremost a keyboard player. On some of his early work he played all the instruments himself. His musical talent is off the chart.

  • Stevie Winwood, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Ronnie Wood, Keith Richards. elevated the art of the guitar to a level not heard today....

  • @ricopolo1000

    what about slash?

  • @SuperTeamrealtree

    Slash is fucking hopeless tbh.

  • The genius of Clapton and Winwood - AWESOME and timeless !!! Their songs can be felt in every fiber of your being.

  • Oops, sorry. I thought you meant the left handed guitar player.

  • Bravo! brings tears to my eyes how crapy rock & roll is today...thank you so much...God bless.

  • such a great musician, great song, agreed...timeless

  • he still sounds really, really good and looks good as well.

  • is that dhani harrison at 4:12 4:14 ?

  • amazing.... you don´t have the thecnic and elegance of clapton or the virtuosism of hendrix to play guitar. This solo is in my top 5 solos of all time. And it is really easy. But somehow it rise your ears and go directlu¿y to your heart and soul. I mean, just see the reaction of the whole stadiumstandin up. Amazing solo.... It doesn´t need speed or virtuosism... just soul. STEVE WINWOOD IS AMAZING. One of the most underrated musician of his times. He is a genio.

  • @hungerstriker27 - He has a great ear.

  • Who else can waste two drummers in eight min. Not a question just a comment. 13 dont have a clue.

  • i love this song, never get tired of listening to it, Winwood is still just awsome!

  • holy shit, this is one of the best and most amazing videos I have ever seen, thanks for this

  • Too bad this was 4 years ago. I missed it live. Going if I can in 2012.

  • Mr. Fantasy couldn't make 13 people happy.

  • @penguinsscareme Im happy.

  • @penguinsscareme they need some intravenous prozac.....................

  • What great musician we had and still have from 80ies era! Steve Winwood, A-ha, Depeche Mode, Michael Jackson..... So glad I was a child/teenager back then!

  • Gotta remember Stevie started real young, he was like 15 or 16 when he was with Spencer Davis.

  • perfect

  • shred me some bitch ass motherfukn' ax..stevie goddamn, shit, bro' !!

  • A true master of his craft

  • I´ll tell it again.... without having the virtuosism of clapton, this steve winwood´s solo is one the most incredible solos I ever heard in my life.

  • makes me cry every time i play video.this is fucking music!!!! just fantastic..

  • What a magical night that must have been! Talk about Mr. Fantasy; suddenly it was 1972 again, I was 21, and nothing had changed. Couples swaying to the hypnotic guitar, Winwood showing us he's still the master, and the music sounding better than ever. Thanks so much Stevie; made me forget it's not the 60's anymore, even though the only thing in the 60's now is ME.

  • kesbe gadda meehaa

  • Winwood, one of my all time favorites. Finally able to see him last year. It was like a religious experience to me. Such a talented and wonderful human being. Arc of a Diver still amazes me in that he was the only performer on the album along with producing, mixing and engineering. An extraordinary talent in my lifetime.

  • There is no other way to describe this other than....DAMN! Well, there's genius, talent, awesome, real music, timeless, powerful, among others. But DAMN sums it up.

  • It wasn't luck, just cool as shit...

  • It's always neat to see those who just discover this timeless music I cut my teeth on in the late '60's and early 70's ..better late than never my young Jedi knight....check out Savoy Brown; Uriah Heep; Ten Years After and many others to just see what a step backward music has taken (for the most part).....

  • @sixstring9 Brutha....I was a kid in the early '70s. I guess you identify music later in life with what you were around when you were young. This is the stuff I remember. I had the opportunity in the early 80s to see Uriah Heep, Deep Purple, Stepenwolf, Guess Who, Edgar Winter, and Don McClain when they all made the bar circuit. Nothing like it.

  • @edcarlisle85

Lucky for you my yong Jedi knight...you had a great upbringing!

  • Great song:)

  • I just discovered this song and I have to say, it's been playing over and over on my ipod for 3 days straight now. Amazing song!! This is what music is about not the crap thats out their now..

  • Talk about sounding the same over the years! SWEET! When music had to be real. Now a daze, its just manufactured junk!

  • I know this is a timeless example of great emotion and heart in the music industry....will be missed greatly!!!

  • 13 Knucklebumps!! Haters are just jealous. Winwood and Clapton are timeless!

  • This will be admired in 200 years' time. I worry about the 13 people who pressed the 'dislike' button.

  • 200 years.

  • isn't it just amazing that almost 40 years later, they are still putting out the sounds.?? Traffic.....they were my absolute favorite in my early adult years. magic, pure magic. and notice how relaxed they all are...?? !!!!!

  • Gettin' it.

  • Is that Steve Jordan Playing drums ? Looks like him

  • i want the names of those 14 ppl who dislike this

  • Standing "O" well deserved..Awesome...

  • had no idea he even played guitar! awesome!!
