Half the fighters in strikeforce are washed up. I hate saying that but honestly strikeforce is the minor leagues of MMA. I just wish that strikeforce could acquire a TV deal and get a bigger market than Showtime. Maybe get on NBC, how the UFC should have done.

One fight against a relatively inexperienced fighter like Rogers doesn't make him the top contender. He does look like a great fighter though. Some of the best stand up in MMA and sick chokes, not to mention the physique.

Nobody can afford to give off that much weight in a fight. Fedor isn't losing his game, he just needs to move to a new division. These new breed of HWs are too big, plain and simple. I do agree though, going into werdums guard was a major mistake.

@MMAenthusiastUHHE rogers wasn't that great i'll admit, and i do have to agree overeem hasn't beaten any legitamte opponents aside from the fact he beat vitor belfort twice and being at a catch weight of 210lbs, i truly believe if overeem can avenge his loss to werdum in exellent fashion he'll be sending a big message to the strikeforce gp tournament, sergei kharitonov hold's a victory over werdum back on october 23 2005, but true fedor cuttin down to 205 may be the coolest thing for him to do

Kharitonov will definitely have problems with Cain or Carwin or Brock because of the wrestling. Also Kharitonov is flat footed, although a great boxer, amazing chin, and some power. So yes, JDS's speed will give him problems.
